My son has been going here for daycare full time since he was 4 months old. He's now 25 months old and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Of course, I need to address price. While I was pregnant and looking at daycare options, I knew Doodle Bugs was going to cost more than other locations. But, for what they offer, the cleanliness of the center, and the general feeling I got, I knew it was worth it. Cost doesn't equate to care, but for the amount of time my son is here, I feel like we are getting a fair deal. The teachers from day one have been great. Everyone is so kind to my son, greeting him when he comes in, high fiving him, sharing stories about him...I really feel like he is cared for. I've always had great communication with the staff. If there are issues, they bring them to our immediate attention. Any concerns that I've had have been addressed kindly and quickly. There is always something fun and educational going on. Daily art, sensory play, music, imagination play...it's great for a learning toddler! My son learned some sign language which helped us communicate with him before he could talk. I know so much of the learning he has had is because of his time at Doodle Bugs. Don't get me wrong, the time and attention my husband and I spend with him is important too! ‼Doodlebugs on losson road in Cheektowaga ‼Discriminates against kids with disabilities and I want every parent to know that. My baby is nonverbal which they knew that when I called and also again when it came time for sign up. They treated him different than the other kids and not in a good way. After two weeks of watching my baby's on cameras wander around a class room and things snatched from his/her hands by the staff along with other children. I had a meeting with the director who is as dumb as a box of rocks and only cares about her staff who's not qualified. She simply told me that my son does not fit in with the other kids, as well to tell my husband that my son didn't want to watch the magic show they had planned and wouldn't sit still. He's 3 ! I'm sorry but do you really think a bunch of 3yr olds are going to sit still for an 1hr long magic show? After that's she recommended it would be best for him to go to another daycare. My son was there Monday, Wednesday, Friday and my daughter Tuesday and Thursday for two weeks. You didn't even give them a chance to get settled in. You care more about keeping staff than teaching and helping these young kids. When it comes to my kids I do not play we pulled both our kids immediately!! Such disappointment in this facility. my son went here when he was younger and was pulled when my daughter was born, And our experience with them at that time was amazing. How that facility went to shit in two years is absolutely crazy. For $389 a week they sure do treat your kids like shit. What happen to this " Learning Academy". I should of read reviews on this child care center because i would of know that this doodle bugs really does discriminate against children with disabilities. when we signed up for this day care they were well aware of her on going services and disabilities and they were okay with everything. she only went there Tuesday and Thursdays. when we signed up the class sign was significantly smaller but, now it seems it has almost tripled in the amount of students. we had a previous issue with the director where they tried to let her go from the facility because she was playing in the sink, why aren't we watching her to the point where there is water all over the floor and also why are we letting her play in the sink? i let them have it and said that i feel as if we are being outcasted because my child isn't the typical child and that's were they were like well that's definitely not the case and agreed to let us stay. fast forward to today where i get a call regarding her behaviors and they cant accommodate her needs anymore they just cant guarantee her safety. i worked in a day care for 5 years not once ever did we try to let them go from the facility. it blows my mind. so they said today will be her last day. i am so sad for my poor baby she loves going to school. but i am glad they showed their true colors because my baby deserves so much more then that. It seems to me that they are lazy and don't want to do there jobs i definitely would not bring my child here if they have any sort of disabilities. read more

This place needs to be shut down. My daughter was 8 years old when she spent a summer there during school hours while I worked. GThe mom didn't work, so we changed custody and Doodle Bugs' services weren't needed. They said they needed to see the judgment in order to cancel the rest of her schedule, so I brought it in and they made a copy. They continued to charge me. I called and they said they lost the copy of the judgment, so I came back in with mine. This was when their story changed to 'We don't normally cancel a schedule...' and they offered to change days. Because a daycare facility understanding how simple custody works would be a crazy idea, right? Anyways, they have two copies of the judgment. They continue to mail me a bill every month for their services unfulfilled. They called me yesterday, so I'm putting them on blast. They should be shut down. My son went to this daycare/preschool for five years. This place is almost a second home for him. He loves going to school and loves all the teachers there. The management here is hands down amazing! They are always on the ball and know everything about everything. They have countless activities for the kids. Between field trips and indoor activities you will stay active in the growth of your child. They feed them well balanced means and he never comes home hunger or dirty. Security here is perfect. You need to verify twice and then once again on check out. They have camera in every room and you can monitor them on any smart phone or computer. This week is my sons last week and his teachers actually cried. I feel almost sad leaving there but my son is entering actual school now and we have them to thank for all the advanced stuff he knows for his age. Doodle bug kids start school ahead of the ball. It's kinda pricy but it about your child. I would highly recommend this place to any parent with worries about leaving their kid with strangers. They will make you feel like family. In the biginning .... Please forgive me my language. I sign up my almost 3 years old son for this daycare, after reading some opinions I had found in Internet. Thank God, I had the opportunity to observe my child through the cameras installed in the rooms. For the first days my son, obviously unhappy about the cave with me, "walked" around the table, holding his favorite blanket in his hand. None of the teachers didn't stop this "procession", he wasn't encouraged to play in any way ... The next day was similar. Concerned, I started to spent a lot of time in the front of the cameras to find out how my son is doing... During a nap time, when he was already not sleeping, he stayed on his mattress, wasn't offered any quiet play, like paging through the book, nothing. It was that it happened even 40 minutes of lying down and looking at the ceiling ... My son teachers were constantly changing: he had been moved from room to room because of the absence assigned to the teacher's group or the insufficient number of children in the group to which he walked. When I asked to terminate the contract, I heard in the administration ordinary ok!. Nobody even asked about the reasons for my decision. It was only when I filled out the papers that one of the girls came over and asked if she could help me in some way. My son attended to this daycare about 3 months before I realized that my choice was very wrong. I am a teacher with an experience, had been working in orphanage, when I lived in mu country. .....This is a daycare with a lot of potential: a big building with a great playground and a gymnastics center in the middle.
