Pixie is a PEANUT/TREE-NUT FREE FACILITY. TEACHERS: I was fortunate enough to be able to volunteer in my kid's classroom several times throughout the year and I found all of the teachers caring and attentive. The classroom management was wonderful and the transitions were smooth. Pre-K teachers tend to rotate but I am confident that the owner/director hires fully capable individuals. CURRICULUM: My child was able to learn so much in a span of one year and thrived the year after in Kindergarten. In fact, it took a few months in Kindergarten to finally get into something new. This is an ideal place for a kid to be. COMMUNICATION: Although as a parent it felt like there could have been more communication about progress, as a former teacher it was understood that no news was good news. There were no concerns about comprehension, development, or behavior. However, all emails and questions were answered quickly and with full information provided. EXTRAS/EVENTS: Throughout the year there were special performances and events held to involve parents which were greatly appreciated and allowed the parents to share in the Pre-K experiences as many 2020 Post-Shut-Down parents didn't get to experience with their children. Overall, I would highly recommend Pixie Village to any parent. Special Note: For privacy purposes I always wait after my kids graduate a school program before posting about my experiences at schools so this review applies a few years back and not the current school year.

They conduct daily activities and always find a way to get the children outside which he loves. Communication is top tier with staff so far I have no complaints. I feel comfortable with my child being there knowing that he is not with different teachers consistently as they do not have high turnover as we've experienced before. Teachers are patient and the Director is awesome! I am upset that I did not choose BrightPath initially but grateful that we are here now. I'd dealt with day care centers when my daughter was young and the experience with Doodlebugs! far exceeds anything I've experienced in the past. All the caregivers hold degrees, which is more than can be said for some teachers in parochial schools. There really is no turnover so your child(ren) have familiar faces everyday. The care and attention is exceptional. My daughter initially put her 2 year old into daycare for the socialization. I cannot begin to tell the difference this made in all of our lives. My grand-daughter started putting sentences together, naming simple objects in our house and she started eating food that she had never considered before. She also started using utensils. Now daycare is a necessity since my daughter is a full time student and works. The 8 month old also attends. Both children are happy, healthy and very well cared for while at Doodlebugs!. My two kids love RBCC so much!!…read more I first sent my older one for Art class and Chinese class when she was only five years old. She enjoyed the collaborative learning atmosphere and interesting learning materials in these extracurricular activities. Later, she joined the summer school and after school where she was also exposed to music education, Peking opera, and Chess class. Now, she is too old to fit in the RBCC programs, but it comes to the turn for her little sister! My three year old little one joins the RBCC preschool program and it is amazing! The program is a dual language one. The kids can learn both English and Chinese. They have circle time in every morning for studying alphabet, numbers, and English words in various themes. They also have mid-day classes for Chinese, crafts and arts, yoga, music and piano! Everyday is full of fun. Everyday after she wakes up, she always feels so excited to attend RBCC. I would highly recommend RBCC to anyone who is interested in preschool, after school, summer school, or extracurricular activities!
