They supposedly offer close to 20 different types of boba. They were out of EVERY. SINGLE. ONE of them. But she didn't tell us that. Even when I asked about the tapioca boba (because the menu board said that was the only one they had left). So... ten minutes later, we get out drinks, (and it took ten minutes because she stopped to take another order AND stopped to talk to somebody that just came in to talk) not only do they not have boba, the drinks taste terrible. I asked why they didn't have boba, and why we weren't told they were out when we order, because, you know, that's the decent thing to do... she says "oh my boss was supposed to bring them but he hasn't come yet because he's at his new store." There was barely any ice, and it was watered down before we even got down the street.

On a recent visit, my passenger--not I--was placing and paying for the order, so I pulled up with the passenger-side window beside one of the stand's two service windows. Because there is a service window on each side of the building, the required direction of travel was not self-evident. There were no other vehicles present and no visible signs, arrows, or pavement markings indicating one-way traffic. Nevertheless, the staff refused to take my passenger's order until I drove around and returned to the same window facing the opposite direction. That made the transaction unnecessarily awkward: my passenger had to speak through me, and I had to pass the payment and drink back and forth. A business may certainly establish a required traffic pattern, but customers cannot reasonably follow a rule that is neither posted nor marked--particularly when the building has service windows on both sides. We were not cutting a line or disregarding instructions; there was no line and no signage to disregard. The more courteous and practical response would have been to complete the transaction, then politely explain the preferred direction for future visits. The coffee is genuinely very good. Unfortunately, the required direction of travel is not marked. Adding signs--and allowing a little reasonable discretion when no other customers are waiting--would greatly improve the experience.

I got to the pet food store too early but saw all of these cars parked outside Transformers, and all of these delicious looking smoothies being carried out to those cars by the most friendly ladies you could ever want to meet. So I hailed one down and she gave me a menu. The system is simple. Call one of four phone numbers on the menu and order smoothies over the phone, and then drive over and receive and pay for your drinks curbside! When you place your order they ask what make and color of car you drive, but it seems that they know most of their customers by name. We ordered from the Funday Friday Menu which as its name suggests offers delicious options like "Butterfinger" and "Blueberry Muffin." We ordered the "Strawberry Shortcake" which contains a cookie and cream flavor base, vanilla protein, and strawberries. It's perfect for lunch on a busy day, and a welcome change from home-prepared lunches. The prices are so reasonable too! $5 for a large protein packed freshly made smoothie brought out to my car is a great value! Transformers is definitely going into my nutrition rotation!
