Best donut shop around, the donuts are so good. They have a variety of options and we made our way through a number of them. Yeast and cake donuts are both superb. The owners are so kind and I hope others see this and take their business here. Other donut shops I have been to outside of Dallas don't compare and the Dallas donut shops are far more expensive. The best donuts! So fresh! I have lived in the area for 13 years. Ever since I tried Donut Paradise I have been ruined for every other donut place. We don't even bother to go anywhere else anymore as we know they would disappoint us! We would just look at each other and say "Not as good as Mrs. June's donuts!" Mrs. June is the owner and she's such a lovely person! She and her husband are there every single day serving up their best! They always throw in free donut holes. There are 4 tables you could sit at if you plan to eat there but of course you can take them home as well. We all have our favorites, mine are: blueberry cake, old fashioned (also called sour cream donut), cinnamon sugar twist, and you have to get a jalapeño sausage or a breakfast croissant sandwich with bacon eggs and cheese or sausage egg and cheese. Just a side note: some of the bright colored icings on the sprinkle donuts are flavored lemon orange or strawberry. My kids don't really like the flavored ones so I always make sure they aren't flavored when I'm ordering. You will love these donuts and the kind owner. The donuts are always fresh and they never taste like that nasty old oil that you might get at other places. read more

Roanoke is known far and wide for being a hot spot for good food and this place in an absolute gem! The owners, June and her husband Ken, are extremely kind and generous and my kids always love coming in and saying hi to June. The donuts are absolutely excellent and I've literally never had a bad one from here. My favorites are blueberry, old fashioned, choco choco cake, and cream cheese danish. This is the best donut shop around no question. They always have a great selection of donuts and their kolaches are great. The donuts are so light and fluffy almost just melt in your mouth, they're amazing my whole family loves them. I'm glad I live 1,200 miles away from Donut Paradise. If I lived within easy driving range in no time at all I'd be as big as a house. These donuts are all excellent and the range of flavors is extensive. My favorite is the Red Velvet Glazed, but I'm sure you'll find something you like, including Kolaches. Buyers get a discount if they buy a dozen donuts and as you can see in the photo below the very friendly owner tossed in a few free donut holes, I assume just because it was closing time (noon).
