Degani Uni Hill - Extra short strong latte

I've never been a big fan of franchises like this considering we live in Melbourne and are…read moresurrounded by many unique and wonderful cafes. Nonetheless Degani is one of the only places around uni hill for breakfast. This place is always busy when I walk by, and even busy today. A downside to this is that it can get very loud and hard to have a conversation even at a 4 person table. And unfortunately being a cafe with a door to the outside there are some unpleasant seating positions when the doors open and Mr Breeze comes in. As far as food is concerned the portion sizes are quite enormous. Most savoury breakfast items come with 2 massive pieces of toast (far too much in my opinion). I ordered the Chef's special breaky, and my friends ordered the vegetarian breakfast and the hotcakes with banana. The flavours were alright, the feta in my meal was very strong and at times too overpowering for the balance of the meal. I wasn't a fan of the hotcake texture but props to soaking them in syrup, for once I thought there was too much haha Staff were a bit all over the place, we were asked by 3 different servers if we wanted to order and when our food was being delivered, instead of pancakes my friend received a risotto. This mistake was quickly rectified. All in all its just another Degani. Nothing special about it. Also they don't split bills which is annoying in this day and age and especially considering the popularity of the venue with the local people.

Been there to have morning coffee with other school parents after drop off. The breakfast is pretty…read moreexpensive. I order their big breakfast, the mushroom is too salty. Cakes are $7-$8 per piece, and they don't put price tag on display so you need to ask the staffs there. There were one time I was there to order just one piece of cake, the staffs there were too busy talking to each other and didn't bother to serve me! Bad impression, I have not going back since then!

The set up was exactly what i had envisioned for our day and the team executed it perfectly. We chose Farm Vigano for the stunning views and the exceptional food and neither one disappointed on the day. The amount of compliments we had about this location was not surprising. I could not recommend Farm Vigano enough for anyone looking for a stunning wedding location all in the middle of the suburbs. Thank you to all the team as you made our wedding day run with ease.

3.7. Good place…read more We were invited to a milestone birthday lunch here today for 16 people. Farm Vigano is very Italian and there's lots to like about that. We had the $55 sharing menu which is said to be in celebration of traditional Italian dining custom. It is a very good feast and makes this restaurant well worth seeking out. We started with a superb anti pasto. It is a very generous size and offers stunningly fresh and delicious produce. One of the best of its type I've had in good old Oz for sure. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite item. They were all excellent. The accompanying bread was excellent too. Light, fluffy and very tasty. All in all, this is a great starter. We had nice pizzas next. Three different types. All had a light base with good tasting toppings. I was talking too much and sadly didn't get the names of any of the pizzas. They are good sound pizzas without being spectacular. Next we had very good looking pork and lamb. Both dishes looked really great when they arrived. The meat was very pleasantly done but not brilliantly and it lacked just a little bit of flavour for me. This course came with well cooked baked potatoes and a nice rocket salad. A couple of our party had cannolis for dessert. I had a taste. They were good. My long black to finish was great. Very well made coffee. Service here was very impressive throughout. There's a good number of mainly young servers and they were all efficient and affable. It is a good restaurant area too. Bright and airy and lovely on a sunny day. There are nice greenery views from most windows. We really liked the place and would very happily dine here again.

Ok yeh, Maccas does Brioche now but do they do it with amazing cut meats or southern fried chicken? I was confused as to what to call this place as it serves up an array of Americana type dishes with interesting add ons. What you can say is Dexter pulls off a very unusual offering while still being casual enough to not feel you need a PhD to understand the menu. I ordered the Big Dexter. Pulled Pork and Beef Brisket.... wow it was yum. I usually do the half way swap with the wife so we can experience more of the menu but there was no hope for this one. This was accompanied by Shoe String Fries finished with a BBQ Rub. .... Hold up. I can't forget... I actually started with a can of Tecate and Burnt Siracha Corn. Which was a great introduction to a lazy Sunday at Dexter. Can't wait to go back! Apparently the meat donuts are in high demand
