Did not rise to the expectations. A day I had planned for 8 months for my daughter fell short when the Party Limo Bus we were told we were going to get was not what came to us. DSTM sent me an email showing a white 25 passenger Limo Bus. Not only were they late, but we got a 50 passenger black bus. They were supposed to get to us at 3pm. I never got a call from the driver stating they were here. We waited in the lobby for 1/2hr before I had to call DSTM and notify them they hadn't arrived. The driver told us they gave us an upgrade because they had overbooked and our vehicle was not available. I never got a call stating that - I would've asked for a regular white Limo instead. My daughter and her party were supposed to go on a lengthy scenic route for 1.5hr - instead they were rushed to the venue. When I called DSTM the next day, Joanne kept insisting that I had gotten a white vehicle. The MC was supposed to get to the venue at 6pm so we can rehearse before guest arrival at 6:30pm - she got there at 6:50. We couldn't rehearse and I couldn't pick up that the DJ had the wrong version of the song for the choreography - a choreography 16 kids and worked hard for 4 months. They were lost and that ruined the excitement they had and my daughter's vision for the start of her party. One of the entrance songs was incorrect. The MC's lateness didn't get give her the opportunity to gather the correct info on the Sweet 16 party presentation. She named my daughter's (a family friend) her brother, got my name wrong, and my son's name wrong. Thankfully, the crowd was anxious to party and she was good hyping up the party. Highly disappointed. Got the "Sweet Deal" package from Don't Stop the Music! for our wedding in December 2019 which included DJ/MC, Photo Booth, Videography. DJ and MC were excellent stayed to my playlist and music vibe and the MC kept things lively and high energy and communicated well the entire time. But that being said I also paid for a Gobo for our names to put on the floor in lights. After having it custom made and sent to them they forgot it and it wasn't able to be a part of our wedding decor. If you want one of those videos you see people post on social media where it looks like a Hollywood movie of their wedding, then this isn't the company to hire for video. They give you back just a ton of raw footage with no real editing. It's basically completely unedited footage, almost awkward to watch at points with shaky camera work and random footage. You want something cute well put together following a storyline to show off to your friends on social media you better know how to edit yourself. Although the most disappointing part was the photo booth that wasn't working and was unable to print pictures until the last 20 minutes of our wedding when the majority of the guests were already gone and only a few had printed out even at that point. We didn't get our photo booth prints back for almost a month after several phone calls and emails and the quality of the prints were very poor. Dark and blurry. No less their photo booth attendant was in jeans, sneakers, and t-shirt the entire wedding which was a formal event. He was barely present leaving the machine broken and open in the back because it wasn't working. The attendant at the time apologized and promised to send us the prints by mail immediately after the wedding and it took almost a month before we got our prints back which we had to go pick up ourselves from the office and essentially ruined part of our favors for our guests. Not all deals are good deals. I read a lot of good reviews mostly referring to the DJ and MC before hiring this company which was originally all I planned to hire them for and I should have stuck with that plan. The DJ/MC service was the only service I was satisfied with. This isn't the company for a quality video or photo booth service and we had multiple emails and phone calls as well as a meeting about my gobo prior to wedding and yet they still forgot to bring it. So think twice before adding on any extra services beyond music. The only issues I had on my wedding day were all a result of poor services being provided by this company. read more

My husband and I booked Don't Stop the Music (DSTM) as the vendors for our wedding this past September 27th 2019- and we must say, we are so glad we made that choice!! We first heard of DSTM at one of the Bridal Expo's we went to. During this Expo Hector (DJ) and Janira (MC) created an amazing dance party to entertain the guests! Within minutes, we were all on the dance floor with party hats and sunglasses... immediately I knew this amazing vibe was the one I wanted for my wedding! I went into DSTM and met with John S. He was so great to work with! He was very understanding of our needs and worked with exactly what we wanted for our wedding day! The BEST PART of DSTM is that it was literally a one stop shop for an amazing price! After meeting with John, I had: 1) My photographer 2) Videographer 3) DJ 4) MC 5) Photobooth It was such a great weight lifted off my shoulders! I went into a meeting with John and came out with most of my wedding vendors checked off! I already knew that Hector (DJ) and Janira (MC) were amazing based on the bridal affair I had been to, but I had to research the photographer and videographer. Turns out, they were just as amazing as everything else from DSTM! They arrived on time the day of my wedding and were true professionals through and through! They had great ideas for beautiful picture and video settings and they were so fun and easy to work with! They truly made us feel special on our day! They didn't rush us and understood the importance of each moment. I will be sure to keep them in mind for any future events because they truly worked hard at making sure I had everything I wanted for my pictures and videos! I already received my pictures (which look AMAZING) and a small trailer of my video, which I'm in love with! At our reception, Hector and Janira did not let us down! Everyone was raving about how Janira made the wedding flow so smoothly and how she kept everyone on the dance floor! I had given her a timeline of events that I had worked on and she was amazing at keeping up with it and making my vision come to life! I LOVED HER!!! Finally, the photo booth was the final touch to make the evening just over the top perfect! The man working it (wish I knew his name) put together an entire album for me (that I didn't even know I'd be getting!) with pictures that my guests took at the booth. It was just such an amazing keepsake that made me feel like I was a part of all the little moments at my wedding! There are just not enough words to describe how grateful I am to the entire DSTM team! A few weeks before my wedding I met with Joanne and John to figure out the specific timeline of events and how everything would work. They were so helpful!! They are so experienced at what they do and made me feel comfortable and ready for my day! If I had to do it all over again, I'd pick them every single time! They made my wedding flow perfectly and allowed me to enjoy my day instead of stressing. I was truly impressed with every person in their team and fully recommend them 100%! Don't Stop the Music did a fantastic job with our wedding 9/16/18. I met with John twice at the main office and we really hit it off and I felt very comfortable with him while we talked about the packages for our big day. I explained to him that the guests were a mix of English, Italian and Spanish speaking and he had Janira be our MC and she was absolutely perfect, because she made sure everyone was engaged in the party. She had enormous energy!! And the DC did a great job mixing up the music from free style, latin, and the newest hits now. We also had Zap shots done and it was a good idea for us to do them. They captured alot of moments on the dance floor and how much fun this party really was (side note: the day is sooooo soooo fast so you are going to want to capture of those moments). We had a very big graduation party with all of our family-about 150 people. Our only goal was to dance and have an amazing time! John the owner listened t all our wants and needs and was so accommodating every step of the way! The DJ's he sent us were OFF THE HOOK! They were kind, respectful, upbeat and totally got the crowd jumping all night long. We even hired Hora Loca Dancers from the DJ company and they were unreal! Our family was over the moon and the crowd did not stop because of he DJ's! Our family has not stopped talking about the party for days afterwards. My Wedding was on September 2nd, 2018 and Don't Stop the Music was the perfect DJ for our wedding! Starting from the planning stages, John S and his team made it simple to pick from the packages they provided and I was so happy that they were able to DJ our wedding since we were out in Long Island! They also provided us with forms to help us easily pick out the music genres and songs that we love. Fast-forward to the day of the wedding, the DSTM Team provided my wife and I with a fabulous wedding! At no point during our wedding did we have anyone sitting in their chairs! MC Harry did a fabulous job ensuring every guest enjoyed every minute of the wedding and that they were up and dancing. He also was kind enough to review our wedding line up as well as the schedule of events for the night. He even offered us suggestions for our grand entrance. DJ Frankie served up a lively set list of music built off of the music genres and songs that we love. He also allowed us to change things up a bit throughout the night when we desired. We also opted for their ZAP Shots option and did not regret it! The photos did not only play on the monitors throughout the night, but we had our pictures posted and ready to view within a couple of days on Facebook to share with family and friends! Overall, we are beyond satisfied and would highly recommend DSTM for any event especially weddings! I didn't realize it at the time of the reception, but now watching my wedding video can I just say, OMG the MC was the WORST! Terrible! Annoying! Did not "read the temperature of the room" at all! Also, the DJ refused to play MANY requested songs (they were given a list prior to the wedding, maybe played only one third of a list of songs my husband specifically wanted to hear). Got married April of 2010 and sadly it was a horrible experience. Honestly, I can't say it was everything as the limo service and DJ were perfect. However, the photographer/videographer, Millie was TERRIBLE. She was rude and gave us the run around with our pictures and kept telling us different stories about where our pictures were. We expressed our choice that we did not want artistic photos and just normal poses and she kept insisting on her way. Photos came out terrible and look forced. She gave us issues when asking for the raw format of the pictures. Questioned me what profession I was in when I told her Jpeg compresses and degrades the quality of pictures. She really rubbed us the wrong way. Video she did was even worse. The editing was terrible, with the screen resolution switching during the video and parts cut off. They would try to do this zoom in effect that looked terrible. Not to mention they edited for non wide screen tv. There was one part they zoomed into one of the brides made while she fixed her strap..i mean really, why????It's a shame as everyone else was extremely polite and helpful and she was the one that really made us hate our choice. If you need DJ/MC/LIMO go with them. STAY AWAY FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER! I have to only give 2 stars otherwise it would of been perfect if not for the photographer. read more

DSTM did a wonderful job - Everyone had a fabulous time at our son and daughter-in-law's wedding reception last month. I'm still hearing from guests about how much fun they had. The DJ was super - he had everyone dancing the entire evening ... even my husband ... (that's saying something!). Millie, the photographer, took beautiful pictures - she didn't stop from the the bride was getting dressed until the last guest drove away. Cannot leave a higher review! The team at Don't Stop the Party Entertainment was AMAZING. Not only were they incredibly easy to work with, they were with us every step of the way for our wedding. They made the process so smooth. We planned our wedding across country (we live in Portland, Oregon and the wedding was in Maine!) and they made it so effortless for us. Once our big day arrived, they were right there and made every step so easy. Our ceremony location did not have power, and they were able to make the music happen! Cocktail hour wouldn't have been the same without the music and of course, the main party, the reception. We are still hearing a few weeks after the wedding, how fantastic the DJ's were and how great the dancing was. We cannot thank you all enough! This business was the worst part of my wedding. If you can stay away please do. Very unprofessional and rude and at the end they lied about the service they were going to provide. They promised something we never got. When I went to their office to talk to the owner 2 days before my wedding his reposes was "you want your money back?" Who does that? When the wedding is 2 days away....At that point I wanted to cry and felt as if I was not valued as a customer. Very inconsiderate, lack of professionalism, and rude. I even got a phone call from them to tell me everything was set and just the way I wanted it 2 nights before my wedding. When the day came it was the total opposite of what I wanted. I don't write reviews but this business has poor management and does not know how to work with their clients in a way where they feel comfortable. I would never recommend this business to people and please stay away. There are millions of venders out there who will help you and treat you like you deserve for your special event. read more

DSTM provided the DJ/MC services for our wedding reception. Yanira was the MC and she did a wonderful job of keeping the energy high and getting everyone on the dance floor. We had a Sunday brunch reception from 12-4 pm, and I was worried that people might not dance at a daytime event, but our DJ/MC duo overcame that hurdle with ease. You would have never known that it was an early party, given that people were on the dance floor the whole time. Plus, they provided lots of fun props (which made for so many great photos in our album!) and played a wide variety of music to appeal to all of our guests. To avoid stress on the day of your wedding, do not go with "Don't Stop The Music". When we first met with them we really liked them and we were assured that we would get the style of DJ we wanted. We wanted a specific style to our wedding and constantly told the team what we wanted when meeting beforehand going over song lists and final details. The day of my wedding they must've thrown all that out the window. They came off as completely unprofessional! Before my husband and I did our first dance, they started playing the wrong song, they were playing the father daughter song over the 1st dance music. When it came to speeches, the MICS DIDN'T WORK! They arrived at 4pm for a 6pm wedding start, they had two hours to set up for the wedding, knowing where the DJ booth would be set up and where the bride and groom would be sitting. The best man/matron of honor/father speeches were done across the ballroom away from the bride and groom, i couldn't even see anyone speaking. Those speeches are meant for the bride and groom, completly unprofessional! They didn't listen to the style we wanted to play for our wedding, i kept telling them we don't need a DJ to constantly be screaming at our guests to get up and dance when they all were, we're adults at a wedding, not at a nightclub! It wasn't until halfway through the wedding until me, the BRIDE, had to complain to the maître d to talk to them since they weren't listening to me. Everyone over at Don't stop the music was the complete opposite, Including Millie and the Photo / Video team. From the time i walked through the doors, everyone that i met took the time to listen to what i wanted and needed. They made several suggestions that i nor my husband had thought about. Millie and Peter from the Photo and Video made our dream day a reality. From the proofs to the final product everything was excellent. I looked at wedding wire and they don't have a bad review (which is why i went to check them out). After looking at everything dan reviews, it seems he is angry at the world or something like that. If you look at his reviews almost no one can meet his standard of service. If you are looking for a Professional / creative / caring Photographer / Videographer /DJ / MC, etc Don't Stop is the place to go. If you want loud music where you can't even hear yourself than this is your D.J. Now you going to say I don't like music and I say you are wrong. I was a regular on a variety show years ago and I love music but this D.J. thinks by getting louder means getting better. This was at a wedding no less and I also worked for a successful wedding band back in the day. Now I can't blame him on his choice of music since the bride and groom usually picks the music but there was no varying of music which a wedding usually has. The M.C. was also loud and shouting and I was sitting in the back. Imagine the people in the front. I walked in the men's room and a person at the wedding asked for ear plugs from the waiter and was wearing them most of the night. He said he couldn't even talk to the person next to him. The wedding was fantastic except for this D.J. but if the Bride and Groom was pleased than they shouldn't care about this review but I needed to write this for future customers.
