I came for breakfast. It was all right. I love a place that's open 24 hours so I will be back! Probably try that big ass burger, that the guy at the table next to me had. He let me take a picture!!

Came here super early with a friend after she got off work. It was just us considering the time we went in. It is 24/7 so that's a plus. Better than going to Dennys. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy and I ordered the livers and onions. Prices were a lot cheaper than most places and the portion size was huge. My liver came smothered in bacon and onions with a side salad, steamed veggies and a mountain high mashed potato and gravy. We had a nice waitress who did check on us and always refilled our coffee. The taste was okay. Very basic like a mom and pops restaurant. I would have to say the restaurant isn't as clean as I hoped it would be. It would be a 5 stars if it was. I do think they do need to do a little update here and there with the booths and stuff. It is very hard to sit comfortably when you have a piece of torn pleather up your a... Anyway, I recommend. It's good basic restaurant so don't expect fancy.

I was driving home from Seattle early in the morning and discovered this diner looking for a 24h restaurant that wasn't McD's. I wanted to be cautious walking into a diner in a new town at 5 am, but the staff here was welcoming and I got a good vibe from the small handful of fellow early-morning patrons. They made some decaf coffee for me (free refills) and I ordered the French toast. Very eggy French toast but that's a good thing to me! Thick and fluffy slices of bread. It was plain and simple but exceeded expectations and hit the spot. Affordable prices as you'd hope for at a diner. Note that they have a check-in deal listed on Yelp but this seems to be outdated - I brought it up to my waitress and she said she'd only heard it mentioned once, years ago, and didn't know how to apply it even then. Fine with me though since I wasn't counting on it.

Diner dive. Clean and good ole fashion diner type food. Triglycerides threw the roof. I had a double wannie burger. Good perfectly I do wish maybe 3 or 4 slices of bacon. Also a nice added touch would be grilled onions and mushrooms! Waitress was a bit annoyed that asked about the Deep Fried Mushrooms. I've had them frozen and they can be a bit slimy and not good texture. The waitress said they are frozen and never heard of any place making them fresh. I mentioned Kidd Valley in Seattle she rolled her eyes and said well we're not in Seattle and I've never her if that place. From that point on service was down hill. I showed her the Yelp coupon for 10% off she huffed and was clearly perturb! Here is photo of my delicious burger

10 oz New York strip steak with hash browns and over easy eggs. Everything was perfectly cooked.

I ordered the hamburger steak dinner and they totally messed that up. It didn't have the gravy, mushrooms or onions. Inside was just mashed potatoes and the steak burger... And they forgot my pilaf rice. My 10oz new York steak is smaller and thinner than before and isn't as tasty like the last time.

the breakfast.... just dont look to closely when you eat...

Ive been going here for years.... today marks the end of that support! Holy smoke... where to begin.... Waitstaff -- OUSTANDING and welcoming...Pleasant even. Food -- Perhaps a 4 (out of 10) (IF you close your eyes and imagine the place is clean and you dont have to go the hospital later for some life saving intervention!) Cleanliness out 10 .... .5 ( half a point )... maybe less Price and Affordable -- im sure not the worst in town.. but definitely at the bottom (1) (no kidding... it's outrageously expensive for a dirty dive )(my opinion) I left here thinking i should go and get a tetanus vaccination and be monitored for food born illness (exaggerations i know... but not far off) SEE THE few PICTURES The salt and pepper shakers... sticky... the condiments rack..... sticky.... like everything needed a good wipe down with disinfectant and a powerful cleaner. Food smeared or flicked on the wall... same here... disinfectant and a powerful cleaner needed.... see the pictures.... The Tabasco bottle... I wasn't even going to touch that.... it looks like previous customers might have dripped a bit on the cap AND the label and then it seeped all around the cap and congealed with whatever else in the restaurant, for a few months, and left a growing ring around the cap. SEE the pictures... Then the bill... holy crap!!! $45 for two (2) Chicken Fried steaks and ONE Sprite in a 1970's coca cola cup made of plastic ($3.59) The refill i asked for... you guessed it... another $3.59....WTH?? Refills are usually free EVERYWHERE in the United States! (but not here) SEE THE PICTURES Sorry Don's.... There are MANY more upscale restaurants in Marysville that charge FAR less with BETTER FOOD that and MUCH CLEANER ...

Thank you so much, was really warming and nice atmosphere, and delicious big plate food. Very satisfied .

Good spot to be honest, I liked it, but the led bulbs have to go, I would give it 5 stars if they changed their bulbs to incandescent.

The staff are sweet and kind. And the food, this is one of the best breakfast spots I've ever been to in my life apart from Ludi's in Seattle. The food is special. I ordered the Big Chief and it was phenomenal. The gravy was of something else my partner describes it as a cheesy béchamel. It was delicious. And the cinnamon roll. Are you kidding me!!! Oh I wish I had one in front of me right now. The cinnamon roll bread was so fresh and baked to perfection where it had this chewy middle. Trust me it was properly baked. And the icing is everything. They laid it on heavy and I thought damn that's going to be over powering however it was so light, airy, buttery and not too sweet. I don't know who's cooking back there but just know it's been two months and I still talk about this place. I thought I would be going back for the cabin. No, I'll be going back for this. Side note, my partner got toast and their were 4 large buttered slices of rye bread that also seemed freshly baked.

We are willing to be patient...Why? We LOVE the AWESOME food and BIG portions! We couldn't resist and came back in 2 days. The service and food were quicker and still equally amazing. But it's worth the wait!! If they sometimes forget to fill up our coffee cup, we just mention it and they jumped on it. For one waitress and one assistant running the show, we were quite impressed! The food: The omelettes are the chubbiest and packed and made with care. Every bite was piping hot we enjoyed it so much! Even though they use some frozen veg, it was still delish and we liked the cauliflower in there it was a neat mild flavor and texture. The hashbrowns are plentiful and the perfect consistency maybe slightly thicker would be my only critique. I personally like lots of fluffiness inside the crispy outside. Still good. We left feeling very full and happy. The coffee is hot and fresh tasting. When it's nice outside, you get a lovely view of the mountains and trees. Even though we are from Monroe, it felt like being on vacation somewhere far far away. We saw this big table of people with lunch items and they looked amazing too. Heaping piles. They have a diner counter area by the kitchen. The main dining is one open area with lots of booth seating. We thought they can totally fit more tables and add some partitions to offer more privacy. It's nice and clean everywhere including the bathrooms. Heard they serve homemade pies? Wow! Don't sleep on this place it deserves five gold bars!!

I absolutely love the outdoor seating area as it is nestled among the pine trees and there are lots of seating options and some games you can play while waiting for your food. Beautiful surroundings. What most people come here for are the yummy large burgers and fries and shakes, etc. Although in their menu the offer sandwiches, wraps and salads too. Everyone I saw while there had burgers on their trays. The appetizers are also very yummy. We shared the garlic cheese curds to start and they were very tasty and served hot. Among our group of 5 people we tried a variety of the burger options including Jalapeno Burger, Grilled Onion Burger. I substituted the sweet tempura brussels sprouts for fries and another did onion rings. The rest of us had the delicious fries. The burgers were very big and difficult to finish for several of us so we took a lot of it home. While here we also ordered the special "Doggy Burger" for our dog. This is a basic cooked hamburger which we chopped up for the dog. And I also ordered a slice of the white chocolate raspberry dessert that the worker said was fresh out of the oven. That had to come home for a later day as we were stuffed. Great tasting food here! I'll be back.

It was so crowded! The service itself wasn't great which is saying something given there are no servers. You wait in line and order at the front, then you find a table (if you're lucky) and they bring the food out to you. Last Saturday, our cashier was a young blonde female and she genuinely seemed miserable. An incredibly unwelcoming presence and that followed with similar service by the rest of the staff. It was odd given the very minimal interactions most people probably have with the staff to begin with. The food is good. If you want a burger and fries and some huge onion rings, this is your place. It's not an out of this world burger and definitely not a place I'd recommend because of the food itself but the atmosphere. It's really what makes this restaurant so fun. It wasn't the food and definitely not the customer service for me. It was the atmosphere. Therefore, I probably won't go back. Food service is one of the hardest jobs in my opinion and I don't want to ever take my family and friend back to a place where I felt like an inconvenience just ordering my food. Disappointing and at the same time, check it out. Maybe it'll be different when you go. I'm hoping so!

Here I was....after spending an entire day hiking wonderful Cascade Pass Trail...to then arrive here at Marblemount Diner at the end of the day....this was the perfect ending in having a home cooked hearty meal! I had just completed almost 10 miles of strenuous hiking down the road at North Cascades National Park. I then drove through this tiny town of Marblemount. And...I had read that Marblemount Diner was highly recommended. I was excited to try this place. When I stopped on by here back in August of this year, 2020 (during the pandemic) it was about 5pm - Thursday and the restaurant was empty. Lol, I guess I was just grateful they were open. But...after being tired from venturing all around on a cold and dreary day...I was craving simple, basic all-American food, and Marblemount Diner delivered with success. From the appearance on the outside of the restaurant, the diner certainly exuded a small, rustic, "mom and pop" type of feel...just the way I like em. I was greeted friendly and sat down immediately. Inside the restaurant...it had a cozy setting decorated with hometown pictures, lots of homages dedicated to being in the outdoors and among nature...and a very quaint "cabin-esque" ambiance set within the quiet mountain town of Marblemount. The menu was simple and basic, not too many options...but I sort of prefered it that way. Just stick to what's good. They had a section of... - Sandwiches - Fried Fish and Chicken - Salads - Kid's Meals - Beverages and Alcoholic Beverages - Desserts. That was it. So for me...I'm easy and can eat anything, and especially since I had built up a huge appetite, I had no issues finding something. I chose the Mushroom Burger - "with sauteed mushrooms dripping in Monterey Jack cheese" for $14.75. The burger also came with fries, lettuce, tomato, onions and a pickle in a basket. I also added a fountain soda. The mushroom burger was pretty big in size and with the fries...it was all quite fulfilling and "hit the spot" satisfying my hiker hunger, lol. Eventually, a little later during my time here the restaurant started filling up. Btw, tables were spread out so everyone was more than 6 feet apart. While eating my meal, I looked back on my photos from the day. I genuinely enjoyed taking my time eating, relaxing, and reflecting on my hiking while digging into a fresh hamburger all within this quiet little diner setting. Had I been visiting and staying in the town of Marblemount longer, I'd happily return to this diner. But just overall, I was enthusiastic about having the chance to end my day here at Marblemount Diner. Within the surroundings of the mountains of North Cascades National Park, for me...it didn't get any better than this!
