I know this for a fact. This was in 2017 and 18, and hopefully they have been caught by now, but please be aware and check them closely! It had some electrical work that needed done, so I returned to have this done as well. Once the electrical was completed I was called and told that the ecm was fried and had to be replaced. Was quoted $595+ tax for the ecm plus $313 for the electrical. This total ended up turning into $1081 and another trip to the shop still having exposed wiring. My vehicle was at the shop for 2 weeks, got it picked up and made it 6 miles outside of town and had to call a tow truck to haul it to a different mechanic elsewhere because while working in my vehicle this last time they placed evidence tape on my ecm and all the wiring and knocked my collect overflow resivoir loose.
