The First time I brought it in it was for a tuneup, and they were less than half the price of the dealership I appreciated that they inspected things and just didn't automatically replace fluids or parts that didn't need to be replaced. Don't waste your time…read more I came to the shop with 3 problems: -A sound from the right side of my car. I gave them instructions on how to reproduce it, just drive the car on the highway -My car needed a regular service -I wanted to reset a warning light on the dash. They wasted my time and I left with more problems. They told me they would get to it that day on site. Then called me and told me they would not be able to get to it till the next. They don't even inspect it till the afternoon of the next day, and want to keep the car for another day. The next day they told me they were not able to reproduce the sound. I go in and immediately reproduce the sound with a tech in the car on the highway. They say they will look at it. I leave. I come back and they tell me they "aren't a shop specialized in fixing that problem" go to a different shop. Fine, I appreciate the honesty. They give me my car back. I turn on the car. Sound still there, Car regular service timer not reset - Such a simple thing, if they're cutting corners here what else are they cutting corners on? Warning light not reset. I go back in , ask them to reset both warnings. They come back, warning light needs a physical part and they need another part that they want to charge me for ~20 dollars, and for me to wait another few hours. They did reset the service timer. At this point they've wasted enough of my time. I leave, paying few hundred dollars for the service and them having wasted 3 days of my time. I go to a different shop. The fix is so simple they fix it for free in 20 minutes. Also they spam you with advertising texts despite never asking. In summary: They didn't fix any of my original problems, needed me to micromanage them to follow basic instructions to diagnose, are slow and incompetent.

We brought our car here for repairs on the purge valve and vacuum canister ($1300.00)…read more They called us a couple of days later after 4p to say it was finished. We arrived within the hour and pulled up to see our car was parked on Fort St, re-ended, police were already there with the driver that hit it writing the report. I walked in, there was a couple guys watching out the big window. No call to us about the accident, no apology. I was upset and asked who was paying for the damages since they put it on the road and wasnt paying a repair if i couldn't drive my car. They said they weren't responsible, it's on the public road and someone had to pay the bill. I left and left the car. My insurance can handle it. This place doesn't put its customers first. Not a word about my car, just them insisting they're not responsible and who's paying the bill.

Ron's Garage is great! I brought my car in for a second opinion on my brakes. I had brought it to…read moreanother auto repair shop in the area that told me I needed new front brakes. I made an appointment with Ron's Garage and they got my car in right away. They checked the brakes and did their complimentary 30 (or so) point inspection. 30 minutes later they brought me back to the garage to show me what they found. Turns out I wasn't even close to needing new brakes on my car. They could've easily lied and agreed with the other shop...and I would've bought some new brakes from them. But they didn't because they are honest people. They did find an issue with my transmission during their inspection. I had recently had a new transmission put in my car, so took it back to the dealership who confirmed the issue and are in the process of repairing it. So not only are they honest, but their mechanics are smart! Finally, they told me up front that they would charge me for 0.25 hours of work to take a look at the car. After they looked at my car, showed me what they found, and were told that I'd take my car to the dealership to get the transmission issue resolved, they waived the charge! I would highly recommend Ron's garage for their honestly, intelligence, and quick service!

I had to take my car back to them and they accused me of bringing my car in with a bad fuel gauge to begin with. After going back and forth with the rude guy at the counter and insisting that there was NO WAY I would ever drive around town without knowing how much gas is in my car, they finally looked at my car again and realized the part they put in my car was defective and they had to replace it again. That proved I didn't bring my car in with a bad fuel gauge. No apology or anything to me. Unfortunately, after the final repair and them explaining that the new part was an aftermarket part, my car now sounds like crap with constant hissing sounds and gas smells even months after the "repair." They are rude, have terrible customer service, and are overpriced. I will NEVER take another vehicle to this place ever again!!
