    My Wife and I recently Bought a 2020 jeep compass that was advertised for $15,300. When we first did our application our payments were in the $600's. I Noticed that the financed amount was over $21,000. I asked what was going on and it was because there was over $5,000 in warranties I never asked for. I told rick that I wanted them off and was assured they would be. a few days later we came back to pick up the jeep and sign paper work. Our payments were lower but i thought it was because of my wife's credit. a couple a days later i sat down and looked over everything. not only was there over $3,000 in warranties on there but the upped the price to $16,900 without tell us. matter of fact they put the old paperwork with the original price stapled to the new so we wouldn't know. I have all the paperwork and pictures to prove this. I was told they would take the warranties off. I have yet to hear about anything and i still owe over $20,000 for a jeep that has side damage and interior damage ive offered to return the vehicle for our deposit back. This was not only shady but fraudulent if i changed paperwork to screw someone out of thousands id go to prison what will happen to them.

The last few days I had an issue with the check engine light and a part on my car the last few days and Bill Rapp and Romano Subaru in Syracuse both said they would charge me $175 and $190 just to hook it up to a computer for the trouble codes when I already ran the diagnostics myself. It's 4 years old now with 126,000 miles and this was the very first issue my forester has had. I called Subaru Utica they said "drop it off in the morning and we will see what we can do". Long story short they finished it within 5 hours, did a whole vehicle inspection, took a video and did it FOR FREE. SCAMERSHIP ALERT PART: Was shopping for a Forrester this week, utica Subaru was one of the first I stopped at, After comparing deals I found a great deal at a different dealership. I wanted to give the local (utica Subaru) a chance to compete. After the salesman gave me a verbal Agreement on the phone to match the deal. I pressed him to see numbers on paper. He specifically gave me his word he would match exact deal ( My first mistake to Trust him) his manager agreed on deal match and he assured me all would be exact same out the door price and trade in. he told me come in and we can write it all up and finish paperwork I canceled with the original dealership and went to Utica too test drive and do paperwork, was too late in day to purchase the vehicle that day. After giving them my credit application and all other details I asked for the break down before signing. Came out with a paper that Listed the out the door price at almost 2,000 dollars more than what we agreed upon. After I brought this up he goes "oh its more than we agreed upon let me check original deal" , went back to financing office made me wait until after they closed to tell me he doesn't think they can make the original deal work. I proceed to tell sales guy in parking lot do not run my credit or use my social, and Im going to cancel this deal. After leaving I reassured them I do not approve of credit Application submittal. Credit app still locked inside, no response yet by text or email. misleading dealership huge waste of time and now I lost other car deal. they will also most likely sell my information now...

    This was my experience: I found a car online and inquired about it. I asked very specific questions…read moreabout its features. I travel an hour to look at this vehicle only to find out it DID NOT have ANY of the features I asked about, and the sales person I was communicating with was not there. After I was calmed down, another sales person helped me to see if they had anything else that would fit my needs. I had no intention of buying here after being lied to, but I did find a car that not only fit my needs, but they had it classified wrong, so it was under priced. We test drove it and it was great. We purchased the car. My son drove it home and said it was shaky. I thought, no way, it was smooth before, so I drove it. It was horrible. I immediately took it back. Their service department told me the tires were garbage. It was smooth when I drove it. Did they swap out the tires after they sold it to me?!? I told them I wanted new tires or give me my money back. They did change the tires. But wait, there's more. On a separate note, I purchased a vehicle on 6/28. They did not pay off my trade in until 7/10, which ended up costing me an additional $18.83. Whatever. But then I get a card in the mail that says I need to send them another $10 to get my registration !!! Bottom line, I spent $60,000 at this dealership, AFTER THEY LIED TO ME TO GET ME THERE, (I know, I should have RAN away), they tried to swap out great tires for garbage ones with "flat spots", their service department's words, not mine, they cost me $20 by holding my money for almost 2 weeks, and then held my registration ransom for an additional $10. RUN, don't walk, away from this dealership.

I highly recommend making an appointment -it will make things go much smoother and more efficient. The sales people are all friendly, well schooled and what's really impressive is how they help each other out to keep things going. They wanted to charge me $1000 to fix them. When I told them that was too much money for rear brakes, they called me back and dropped the the price to $763. Still too much so I told them no and I would have my Uncle look at them. My car is currently in Poland at a family business and they just called to tell my rear brakes and rotors are completely fine nothing wrong with them!! I am beyond disappointed in Mastrovito! They were looking to make money off me. I can't imagine what they do to older customers and women. How many times have they tried to rip someone off. They are wonderful by giving back to the community, just don't trust them when you take your car in for a recall. Btw the cost to replace both would have been $300 if needed. Big difference!!! They should be ashamed of themselves!
