    On April 18th I placed an order for a Frigidaire Air Conditioner. The following day Carolyn reached out to me via email. She regretfully had told me that they did not have the unit in stock but one could be ordered or she had other options. She estimated it would take 1-2 weeks for the air conditioner I had ordered to arrive in store. I hesitantly agreed to have one shipped to the store where I would pick it up. Carolyn told me that she would update me once they had an ETA for my AC. On April 29th after not getting an ETA, I reached out to Carolyn again. The following day she emailed me back to tell me that the ETA still had not shown up in their system. She was kind enough to reach out to the rep who told her the unit would not be available until June. Why did it take until the time that the unit was to be delivered before I was told it would take over a month to get the air conditioner?

    Shopping for appliances is not the way it used to be. I was very grateful to have an informative saleslady since I'm in the market for a new stove. She explained to be the different types currently on the market along with the cost factor and what goes with each different model I looked at. Her explanations were thorough and complete. I was examining a floor model which had been significantly reduced. I thought that I was getting a good buy with it if I decided to go with it but later she showed me that the current models of the same stove were only slightly higher. That floor model is 3 years old and brand new. I asked if the new model was in any of their stores since the one I was visiting didn't have it. She checked her inventory and said no. It would have to be ordered but it would be exactly like the floor model I had looked at with the exception of the top burners. I never was a fan of internet shopping unless I know I am able to return it. I also get upset with the fact that this is a major purchase so I would rather look at what I am buying rather than go and order not knowing what the final product will look like. I am finding out that most big box stores as well as other appliance stores do not carry the full line in store so I'm left with internet searching and reading reviews on what I did see and what I didn't. Needless to say both of the choices I looked at have serious flaws to them but that's the way the make appliances these days. I did learn that Don's Appliance does price match but there is a delivery fee and of course you must buy a new prong for your stove because they have no way of knowing what type of outlet you have in your home. You also are not allowed to have them remove the prong attachment from your trade in and put it on a new stove. Don's can pretty much arrange a rapid installation of your choice of model. They service all their appliances after the warranty period for a hefty fee. If you want to save some money other competitors offer free delivery and installation but again you have no idea what you are getting till you get the item you selected. My advice would be therefore to search as I did through the product numbers since she was kind enough to give me a total write up and then work from there. Don's does offer one year same as cash financing for major purchases.

    Problems with delivery of our washer and dryer. After the get your money you get ghosted and they take no responsibility. Go anywhere else.

    ASL Appliance Repair Review.  The service I received was…read moreterrible from ASL appliance repair service. I was referred to ASL appliance repair via GE appliance service center. The person that showed up at my home had a huge language barrier. We basically communicated through the interpreter app on his iPhone. The service tech continue to tell me there was nothing wrong with my refrigerator via his interpretation app he stated his lead technician would call me needless to say he did not call or text me. I called the office on Monday morning and was told I was given an estimate when I told the service company over the phone that I was not given a diagnosis nor an estimate, he insisted that I did receive an estimate..  I provided him with text messages between the service tech and myself.  I requested a refund due to the service I was promised was a diagnostic result which I did not receive.  I explained to the representative on the phone I never received a diagnostic report in regards to my refrigerator. He said he needed to talk with is tech and he would get back to me and in regards to a refund the person that could refund me was in Washington DC until Wednesday. I called back on Friday the person on the phone stated I was not getting a refund because I was sent an estimate last week. He told me I was a liar. What did he do? He text me an estimate today 11.6.23. I told him that is not acceptable if he didn't refund me I was going to expose is company with a horrible review.  The $85 is not a huge issue, it's the principle. If you are a repair service company and you service refrigerators then your service tech should be able to figure out what the problem is. If not send someone who can.  Why should I have to pay for a "nothing is wrong with your refrigerator". When clearly there is something wrong or I wouldn't have called for a repair person.  To be continued.

    BUYER BEWARE!! ASL only showed up to 2 of the 4 appointments I scheduled with them and after…read morespending $320 to repair my dishwasher, it didn't work any better after they left...I ended up buying a new one for $800. I requested a refund, but they refused. I also offered them to fix it, but they were a no show. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ASL your biz!!!
