Their…read moreamenities are without a doubt top class with a huge flat screen in the lobby, pool, fitness center with modern, diverse equipment, a yoga/dance studio, business center that is reservable, grills outside, large package room, bike storage, and a 24/7 market for small snacks! On the second floor, there's a nice shuffle board and pool table as well as a media room too! Safety is a high priority here with access only being granted by residents. There is ButterflyMX available to grant people access to garage or the front door with a video camera available so you can confirm the person you are letting in. The floor plan D is spacious with brand new equipment and includes washer, dryer and is pet friendly! Beekman opened in December so everything is quite new and there is 1 month free with our 13 month lease. There's assigned garage parking for a fee which is quite expensive but the parking is unique in that the building is built around the parking garage. This means that you'll be able to park on the same level as your apartment unit. There is no concern about noise at the moment! You are also allowed 15 days of guest parking per month. The leasing office staff - Michelle and Aaron have been great, reliable and so responsive any time we had any questions or concerns. Aaron was especially considerate - I had just gotten in from a 6 hour drive from Pittsburgh and my cats were feeling anxious and constrained. He noticed this and offered to let them out of their carriers for a bit in their office while we did the apartment walkthrough. I highly recommend working with them! Beekman on Broadway is one of a few buildings that are planned to be built in this area, so it is up and coming! Beekman is currently doing a referral bonus of $1000 as well! The rating is not because this is the coolest, fanciest place to live in A2, but because it checked all of the most important boxes and I enjoyed living here. The apartment has limited storage but was completely sufficient for me and my husband. I think a 1 BR would have been too small for us but the 2BR has been great. My neighbors were chill all 3 years, no issues. As others have stated, the management and maintenance staff are stellar which has kept me happy. Anytime there was an issue (e.g., one time I had bugs, low water temp, broken washing machine, lost package, etc.), they were VERY prompt about helping me resolve the issue in a timely manner. Super dependable. I've had to call them a few times when I was traveling to check on something in the apartment for me which gave me complete peace of mind. I have a ~15 minute walk to school which has been fine, even in the winter. I've always felt safe and rarely had any issues with noise (except when the family upstairs had a toddler who would run around like a maniac during the day -- luckily he grew out of that phase). I've loved the location more than the apartment itself, it's an easy walk to campus, downtown, and a prime location for football game days. Also, if you renew your lease and you're gone during the summer, you can pay half rent for a couple of months which saved me some money and kept me from trying to deal with subleasing. Major benefit for students.
