The steak sandwich was fantastic. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return again when we pass through Fond du Lac.

My family and I had a great time coming here for dinner. I'm a vegetarian and my mom is gluten free…read moreand they had no problem accommodating us both! I chose to get the Spotted Cow without the meat patty, it was amazing! My boyfriend got it with the meat patty and thought it was great as well. I also loved the Magic Mike drink, that was recommended to me by a friend. It was fruity and I was unable to taste the alcohol. I love that they handmade their chips and they're not super crunchy. The resturant was calm and had a pleasant atmosphere! We will definitely return!

As soon as you walk in, the bar and restaurant is lively with a good vibe, so I had high hopes. Our server was great, very personable. But the food was subpar at best. We started with the Fire Cracker Shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were frozen cheap shrimp tossed in a little sauce with soggy coleslaw on the bottom. I would be embarrassed to serve that appetizer. The Spotted Cow burger sounded amazing but the burger is a frozen burger with no seasoning and it was not juicy at all. The homemade potato chips were greasy and soggy. I have never had chips like that, ick. The green pepper soup was ok. It may have been homemade, I am not sure but I was so turned off by the other food I could not eat it. Such a waste of money. There are food & drink specials posted all over. My guess is that they are hurting. Plus parking is terrible.

The deep-fried queso cheese curds were fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the deep-fried pickle chips, which were crispy and full of flavor. The Bang Bang Shrimp Salad was excellent, with fresh snow peas and cucumbers, and the Thai dressing added just the right amount of flavor and zest. We also ordered the perch dinner with sweet potato fries, and both were very good. The only item we would not recommend was the lobster bisque. It came out warm not hot and It lacked flavor. It seemed to be missing something that would have made it more enjoyable. All of the portions were generous, and we definitely felt we received good value for our meal. The servers and restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. We would recommend this restaurant to others. Plenty of TVs throughout your watch your favorite sporting event. Being on the water on a beautiful summer day made for a peaceful setting. There is tons of seating available, including tables, booths, and seating at one of their two large bars, making it a comfortable choice for a variety of dining preferences.

On my last visit, she mentioned that her attached Blue Line Tavern serves a fish fry every Friday AND Saturday. That was all the encouragement I needed! On Saturday, October 24th, Ann and I went for a Saturday fish fry. Growing up in Wisconsin--especially Milwaukee--I've enjoyed fish dinners all over the state. I figured we were heading out for another tavern fish fry. What we got was a meal worth telling people about! Upon arrival, I found the tavern roomy and very wheelchair accessible. As someone with a disability who uses a wheelchair, I appreciate being able to enter a restaurant and feel comfortable in the space. Their menu offered a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from, but I went with the baked cod, served with lemon caper sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, and a dinner roll. The dinner included a choice of soup or salad, and I chose the mac and cheese as my soup. The baked cod was absolutely AWESOME! The lemon caper sauce complemented it beautifully, and the plate was presented with care. This was fine dining quality food in a comfortable, relaxed tavern. The food quality is top notch, the portions are large, and the prices are very affordable--well worth it for the meal you get! A big compliment to the kitchen for giving this longtime Wisconsin fish fry customer something to rave about! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms. Multiple TVs had live sports playing, with the volume at a comfortable level that allowed Ann and me to enjoy an easy conversation without raising our voices. Between the food, the friendly people, the accessibility, and the relaxed atmosphere, we will definitely be making Blue Line Tavern one of our new dinner destinations! If you're looking for a Friday OR Saturday fish fry--or another dinner from their varied menu--I highly recommend giving them a try. Kari, I'm glad you told me about it! Blue Line Tavern 90 S. Service is always kind and helpful. My favorite dish recently has been the creative your own pasta. I get gnocci with Alfredo & request slivered almonds because I loved them on another dish. They always are so kind and do so. I always try a new drink and am never disappointed. Their bar is great! They have a decent amount of gluten free choices (my mom is gluten free) and she is always excited to go. Even though it is typically busy, it's never noisy or crowded, in my opinion. I'll definitely be back!

We started with the calamari, that is served two ways & we ended w/ 2 desserts to go, the Tiramisu & Cannoli Cake! Can't wait till later to enjoy them. We also shared a cup of French onion soup. That again, was a delicious winner. We didn't think to get pictures of the calamari & soup. For our entrees, it was a great dilemma to have.... Pizza, Pasta, or a Salad. So we opted for all three A cheese & Sausage pizza, that is amazing! The Braised Beef Ravioli was a great pasta choice! Loved the sauce. And for the Salad The Black & Bleu, that's sure to impress and is a very generous portion! Our waitress, Kylie, was a total delight, making the meal more enjoyable. We're pleasantly content, with full bellies and plenty leftover for more meals to enjoy later. I highly recommend enjoying a meal at Ala Roma. If we lived here it would definitely be a fav place of ours. We'll definitely visit here when passing through. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
