My friends and I had the tasting menu that offers 12 dishes and a cup of hibiscus juice at 55,000 pesos ($41) per person and absolutely loved it! To be honest, I went to a Michelin Star Restaurant here in BA a few weeks ago and this experience beats it by far! The soup was the only dish that was totally bland and the dish that was over a bed of potatoes tasted like the potatoes were a bit too salty. Otherwise, all other meals had a wonderful mix of flavors and textures that made you forget these were all just mushroom dishes. Unfortunately, chef tried to insist that out party of 5 either all have the tasting menu or not at all when only 3 of us did and the other 2 ordered individual meals. However, I suggested to our waiter that the 3 of us having the tasting menu would be on the 2 end tables and have a separate check while the 2 not having the tasting menu will be on the last table with their check, essentially treating us like 2 different tables, and he graciously agreed to. It left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth (hence the drop to 4 stars) but I have to be honest and admit the the food, experience, and waiter's service were all so good that I'll go back again and I definitely recommend checking it out. read more
