Buenos Aires Verde is a really nice small restaurant with super healthy and delicious food! I had some curry and a super fruit smoothie - which tasted good and your are full, but it just feels good and you can still go for a walk after. The personal was really sweet and since I don't speak Spanish yet - they try to explain everything in English (and Spanish) and they got a menu in English as well. Totally recommend that place!

It's difficult to find a heaping plate of vegetables in the city center, and if you do, it often costs more than a heaping plate of meat. But at Buenos Aires Verde, fresh and organic vegetables rain from the heavens in gargantuan serving sizes, and they're done up to the nines with delicious sauces and dressings. They offer a medley of hot and cold dishes (so you won't just be stuck with salad), from lasagna to risotto, pizza to vegan burgers, there's definitely a vast menu that can satisfy all culinary interests. Came here a few times during our stay, and I was never disappointed in the quality of ingredients, service, or ambiance of the little cafe, in fact, I was consistently impressed. I suggest ordering a few things off the menu and sharing family-style so that you can sample everything. The portion sizes are really large, for example, a single salad could easily feed two people alone. Bread, breadsticks, and hummus are complimentary. Yum. They have interesting twists on lasagna, both a hot and "raw" variety. The flavors are absolutely explosive as well, you won't find yourself stuck with a bland meal. They also sell vegan/vegetarian organic desserts in the front glass case, and other items for cooking/baking at home. You will pay a bit more here for a meal than other places serving food heavy on the meat, but again, portions are beyond generous and you get quality ingredients uniquely prepared and presented. Staff are kind and patient, will explain menu items in detail, and are attentive to the guests at all times. Pro-tip: they also have menus in English if you don't have a translator in your party. Like most places in BA, they don't take credit card so bring cash.

The very first place I ate at (besides the hotel) upon arrival in BA. I wanted something healthy and delicious. I live in San Francisco and this place reminded me of some of my favorite healthy restaurants in San Francisco. I actually think it's better and I want them to open in SF! The menu is big, with daily specials, raw food, smoothies and desserts, to name a few. My husband got one of their special salads of the day and I got a taco which came with 5 different sauces/nut creams to top it with, including mole. I cannot recommend this place enough - if you want something healthy while in BA come here!!!

Amazingly delicious, there are no other words. Vegetarian food that can convince the most stubborn meat eater that vegetables are your friend. I've been here for dinner and lunch and both times were fantastic. The place is small and doesn't have a bunch of decorations but that's OK. Both times I've been it was packed even around lunch time. The menu del dia for lunch has a bunch of options and all for just 60 pesos. Plus the smoothies and juices are soo good, fresh and inventive combinations of fruit and herbs and coconut milk. A great option in Palermo for date night or an excuse to get out of the office and have lunch.

I normally don't like vegetarian restaurants, despite being vegetarian. That being said, the chef prepares very tasty dishes that have lots of flavor. Huge serving sizes, but more expensive than I expected. Lasagna was great. Millet crepe was heavy but not as focused - every bite was all over the map and not always in a good way. Apple lemonade with mint was a solid pick!

Impressive delicious skillfully-rendered vegetarian food! I'm inspired on becoming fully vegetarian because of their cooking.

My 2nd dinner here. Fabulous. And the dessert? Outrageous. Spectacular. Wish I had someone with me to share this.

Best vegan food in Buenos Aires. We were about to give up on the idea of getting nice food here ! But this place. Changed our mind ! Nothing was missing. Very nice staff and incredible food ! Definitely worth travelling for !

Turned out a couple of Food tours were arriving soon. Lucky we were ordering takeaway. Smaller spot with just about an equal amount of in/outdoor seating. We ordered a couple of the Guest Chori's-The Juan Pedro Caballero (pork) and the Carneceria (beef). Juan Pedro had tortilla chips and peppers and the pork chorizo sausage was saltier than the beef. We ordered a Chimichurri sauce on the side and enjoyed it. We liked the Pork more than the Beef-just was more flavorful. The Bread was thick, soft and held up to the Choripan and condiments well. Potato salad with al dente potatoes was tasty. They also have beer and cocktails so ordered a Gin and Tonic while we waited for our order. Friendly people behind the counter. Food was ready in about 15 minutes. That said, I can see they could get busy and have longer wait times. Make this stop for local grilled sausage deliciousness.

They served mostly chori and one morci (blood) sausage sandwiches but with a twist with their toppings. You could get just the sandwich or combine with side and drink. I picked the Invitado Juan Pedro Caballero and the cashier hesitated before entering the order as she wanted me to know it was picante. I assured her it was not a problem and then paid with my credit card. After a short wait, they called my name and I picked up my choripan. it was quite the handful filled with layers of roasted peppers, tortilla chips, onions and lettuce. The tortilla chips were stale but overall I liked the flavors especially with the heat from the peppers and chipotle mayo. It was a nice twist on the popular choripan.

Menu is expansive and nicely organized, with vegan and gluten-free options highlighted. There are so many healthy smoothies to choose from, and looking around, seems like a popular spot for dessert as well. Free bread and hummus is given, as well as a shot of fresh berry lemonade. Yum! I ordered the black pepper tofu which came with a side of tabouli, russet fries and seasonal veggies. The plate was beautifully presented, so many colors! The food was super light with a great mix of flavors and different textures. I also ordered a smoothie made with almond milk, Colombian coffee, banana and lemon. It tasted more like lemon and banana, I wish there was more coffee flavor, but I still happily slurped it down. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is lovely and quaint. Of course, it's not cheap, but it's not expected to be. Totally worth it, if you ask me. Definitely recommended if you're veg, or even a meat eater looking to try something different! I'll be trying their Palermo location soon.

The ambiance is very chill, colorful and quaint. Service wasn't too bad, although we were the only people there. Everything else I happily munched down. Prices are decent considering anything exotic here has a high markup. I spent $400 ($20 USD as of Feb 2018) which included some tasty ginger lemonade.
