We took our new to us (Used SUV) to Service Oil upon a recommendation from a coworker, the mechanic…read morewe had was very knowledgeable and thorough on all of the vehicles issues (QUIRKS). We took our Equinox in with three warning lights on in the dash (ABS/Traction Control/Engine Light) among also noise coming from the front suspension and a exhaust from leak under the car. The mechanic in short order ruled out the cause for the ABS and traction control malfunction to not be due to a ABS sensor that was recently changed (needlessly before coming to Service Oil) but in fact was actually caused by a encoder strip on the hub that was badly worn out and replacing this part alone would fix these two issues. The mechanic then replaced the broken muffler that most definitely made the car sound much quieter and not like a jet engine taking off when starting the vehicle anymore. To rule out the engine check engine light the mechanic did some extra troubleshooting and cleaning in and round the top of the engine and intake manifold finding no issues or vacuum leak, it was unknown what caused the check engine light CEL however upon further testing have confirmed the issue was actually resolved by the garage from the work they previously completed. The end result from the noise coming from the front suspension was due to normal wear and tear on the front struts and that they would need replacing in the future (mechanic gave very detailed cost analysis of the repair and all work required) and that they don't need to be done right away as it doesn't affect the safety or performance of driving the vehicle presently and would be a cost saving to hold off until the need arises to change them. We greatly appreciate the workmanship from this garage and their amazing attention to detail while being very thorough.

I was having problems with one of my bearings and drove the car to this shop to get it looked at. They were pressuring me to get more work done on the car then it needed. When I refused additional work, and just had the bearings looked at, it ended up breaking just a few weeks later. Poor workmanship and terrible customer service. Would not recommend.
