So I requested my optician and hopped off to Specsavers. As this was happening, my driving test was in 4 days time. Not only did I manage to get 2 pairs of nice glasses for £100, they also had them ready in time for my driving test which was a godsend as otherwise I would've failed! I have had the glasses a year now and they have lasted well and nothing has gone wrong! I can't praise Specsavers enough.

Customer service told me they would call me when my glasses were ready for collection, but I never received any call or update.When I called again, customer service said they would confirm with their manager. My appointment was at the Bedford branch My wife also got new glasses because I recommended Specsavers to her but now both of us have decided that we will not use Specsavers again From next time we will go to Boots. customer service misled me They recommended two pairs of glasses even though one pair was enough for me. They did this just to make more money. I had to buy two pairs but later I found out that one pair would have been enough. Now I have to pay again for new glasses, and the second pair I bought is wasted You can investigate this with the Bedford branch to see what happened with me. The manager said that you should come, we will do your eye test again and we we dont charge you. But when I went, my eye test wasn not done because they said there is no need to do it again and they also said they wont charge me.

    Vision Express' service in Bedford is frustrating and disappointing…read more Here are 4 reasons for not choosing Vision Express (VE): 1. Incompetence - VE gave me the wrong contact lens boxes. I checked on the prescription printout VE to see if the contact lens box was correct, and my contact lens prescription was also missing on the printout. I had to rely on my hunch that the what VE had given was incorrect. If I had not called up VE to double check, I would have been given the wrong contact lens and wearing them and causing damage to my eyes. 2. High Prices & Deceptive pricing VE charged me 70 pounds for two boxes of lens after my contact lens fitting. The market rate on many online retailers is 20 pounds per box. VE charged me almost 35 pounds per box. If I chose not to buy the boxes, I would have to pay 35 pounds for the contact lens fitting that was "free". I found out that the contact lens fitting is not really "free" - VE includes the 35 pound contact lens fitting in the 70 pounds, making each box 20 pounds per box. VE should be clear about the price of the contact lens fitting upfront and charge the customer the 35 pounds up front. Don't tell them something is free when it's not. VE should then charge separate and reasonable 20 pounds/box for their contact lens. Currently the pricing is confusing and deceptive. 3. Lack of Resources & Inconvenience VE does not have adequate inventory supply. For my contact lens fitting, VE used a different prescription and told me that my lens were not in stock. When I came to buy another brand of lens after the test, VE still didn't have the lens in stock. I had to wait almost a week to pick up my contact lens. When VE then gave me the wrong lens, I had to wait again for another 3 to 4 days and make another trip. Each trip cost me time and travel cost money. It's high inconvenient. 4. Lack of Value VE charges 35 pounds for a contact lens fitting that takes about 5 minutes. For an experienced contact lens user, this process seems extraneous and almost a waste of time. The customer has no choice and has to be charged one way or another for this expensive test.

Mate, The customer service was wicked, whatever I asked they would answer to the best of their abilities and lets just say that they are experts in this business. They offer infinite and free cleans for jewellery and it is a family owned business that you should love to support. The inside is so peaceful, calming modern yet traditional at the same time. They provide good mirrors for you to look that and YES,YES,YES,YES they really good and I love them. If you dont get my point, this place is great and I fully recommend.     This is a lovely place to shop both for myself and gifts for other people…read more The shop itself is located in Bedford, only a 2 minute walk away from the very centre of Bedford town. It's down a nice quiet little street. Inside the shop it's very modern with lots of well lit glass cabinets. The majority of the jewelery in the shop is white gold and it is all quite modern or has a modern twist to it. My favourite thing in the shop is the Pandora bracelets - it's where I go to get all my charms from it and I always get comments about it! The staff are very helpful in here and will go out of their way to help you ( I even had a charm specially made for me as they didn't do what I wanted). It's not cheap but it is fantastic quality!
