I would like to explain a post that a former client is not only posting but also reaching out to other current and former families that we have had enrolled. This individual is acting out of control and making outrageous false allegations against our staff and Center. She is posting a video from this past week where as a police vehicle is in our lot and relating it to her false allegations. She was approaching parents as they dropped their children off that morning doing the same. I would like to clear this up for all of you that have questions. Her behavior and profanity not only on our property but in front of the children getting dropped off caused ME to call 911 as she would not remove herself from the property upon my request. The Police Officers banned her from the property which of course upset her even further. She then made threats of closing my business down via social media. I want all of you to know that I have met with my attorney and he is handling this situation. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to clear up any confusion you may have. If there were any truth to her accusations we would not be open for business. If there were any truth to her accusations there are proper channels to go through however she is choosing this one. That alone should give you an idea of how meaningless this actually is. I appreciate all of you that have called me, supported the daycare and continue to do so against this madness and I apologize to those of you that are being harassed by her. Our son seems to really enjoy his time at Donna's, and we can tell that he is learning. For example, Jack would pretend to fall down occasionally and we were able to piece together that is was part of "Ring Around the Rosy!" So that is an activity he learned at Donna's that we've incorperated into our own routines at home. :) Jack was a picky eater and not the best sleeper, but we've seen improvements in both areas since he started at Donna's. I've especially noticed now he plays with other children. He seems to be better at sharing and interacting with other children his age. Jack also has sensitive skin that has reacted at different times, and Donna and her staff were great about keeping us informed and giving us information so that we can communicate clearly with our pediatrician. Donna also worked with us on resolving the issue, and we haven't had any issues since. The teachers all seem great, and Jack usually has a big smile on his face when we pick him up. So I know he enjoys his time at Donna's. read more

I am a grandmother that has taken on the responsiblity of foster care to my grandson. Looking for daycare has been very stressful. Donna's Little Daycare has made it so much easier for me from the beginning of the first phone call to the end of the enrollment process after touring other daycares and making the decision to enroll with this one. The owner obviously takes pride in her business and handles the administrative part of it very professionally. She is very patient in taking the time to answer questions and explain forms that need to be completed. Her an her staff have been very friendly and seem to love what they do. Both my husband and I are always greeted with a smile in a calm ambiance. Our son is content and oozes an eagerness to be in the presence of his carers. We have also observed them respect our approach/philosophy with him and they really help out if we have any requests on any given day. We receive a detailed report card and if something needs seeing to, communication is fabulous. If ever we needed to talk to a carer or owner they have made themselves available pronto. As first time parents it is reassuring to see that our boy is in a clean, nurturing and loving place, free to explore (safely) and respected for his unique individuality. I love donnas little darlings As an employee i am grateful to work at a loving place.This has taught me to be responsible and be there for the little ones every single day. everyday there is something new to learn and been at a job you absolutely love is hard to find. Knowing that everyday the children are happy to see you its a wonderful feeling knowing that they feel at home and know that are safe its a good feeling . its a lot of responsibility to run a business by yourself even if you are a single mother but donna has been doing that for 25 years! My son and daughter have loved going to Donna's Little Darlings. When I first moved to omaha and saw Donna's place, I knew it would be the perfect spot for my children. The staff was very welcoming and over the course of the next few years, my children have learned so much from the teachers there. I especially love how much they focus on arts, letters, writing, shapes, colors and most importantly, how much fun they make it for the kids. My daughter has been going here for 5 months and we absolutely love this daycare! My daughter has never been in the care of anyone other than my husband and myself, so she was difficult for them at the beginning, but they still welcomed her with open arms and never judged or treated her differently for being a "difficult" kid. They treat us like family and that's a good feeling since we are new to this town! They take exceptional care of the building as it is always very clean. I would highly recommend Donna's for high quality care! Friendly and caring staff and owner. My daughter went there for 2 years before going to PreK at our neighborhood school. It was so hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful place! I know that my daughter was being well taken care of in a loving, safe and learning environment. My daughter loves coming to play with all her friends which include the staff, not just the other children enrolled. They have helped instill and reinforce the great values and manners that we are trying to teach her at home. We love being able to drop her off in the mornings on our way to work and having the secure feeling of not having to worry. We have in fact just begun this same adventure with our newborn son. My daughter went to Donna's Little darlings for a short duration but the daycare facilities has impressed me a lot. They give me her daily reprts and call me if they see something unusual. My daughter is in infant room and she is learning a lot in the daycare. She goes in with a smile and comes back in playful mood. Especially during COVID pandemic, they make her wash hands and check her temperature which makes me feel that she is in safe environmet. I have been pleased with bringing my daughter to daycare here. She has blossomed beautifully. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My daughter lights up with a huge smile every morning when we drive up, which makes me feel very good considering she is too young to talk. I am moving out of the area in the near future and only pray that I am fortunate enough to find the type of care in a daycare that I have found with this one. Our daughter attended Donna's for 2 1/2 years and absolutely loved it. She participated daily in a great range of activities from learning letters and numbers, arts and crafts and the wonderful playground time. We felt at home immediately and never worried once that she was being well taken care of. My son Karsyn has been attending here since November of 2017 and my daughter has been here over the summer. I was very apprehensive about leaving him with someone to care for him at the young age of 6 weeks but the staff here made it so much easier on me. My daughter has been in the preschool program for about 9 months and her abilities have improved tremendously. She has far exceeded the expectations required to start kindergarten next year. I have been to many daycares and in fact have worked at one but they did not operate the way Donna's Little Darlings does. The staff is great, its a very friendly atmosphere and it is very clean and organized. The children seem happy when I am there and my child just loves it! I have an infant who started at Donna's at seven weeks -- he has received wonderful care from Donna's warm staff. They've helped me wrestle with the car seat, navigate his first fever, and deal with diaper issues. The separate infant house is genius!
