I ALWAYS have a lot of questions for my healthcare providers and don't like to feel rushed, brushed off, or like my concerns are being undermined and Dr. Kapner is a VERY attentive listener who diligently ensures every concern and question gets addressed with transparency and thoroughness. She has superb bedside manner that seems to be backed by experience and she does really well with following up to personally discuss lab results or any other issues or questions she says you'll get a call or email back from her for. While her schedule and the overall practice she's at are clearly very busy, I never feel rushed through my appointments and instead would say that Dr. Kapner does well to give patients somewhat of a boutique / exclusive provider / practice feel that is a highlight to what can typically be kind of a daunting experience with other gynecologists. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kapner and her nursing and medical assistants team to my friends, colleagues, or family members and if you are looking for an experienced, non judgmental OBGYN that won't make you feel like you're one of many patients even if that may be true, you should not hesitate to take your lady parts over to her to look after. I certainly feel like mine have been being handled with pristine care under her watch, LOL.

I have never been so uncomfortable in a doctors office. The intake process happens at the…read moreregistration desk, so anyone checking in can hear every answer. There is zero privacy. The waiting room is dark and dingy with paint chipping and worn chairs. The exam rooms are no better. They attempted to force unnecessary testing on me without explanation or my consent and there was no discussion with the doctor beforehand. When I asked why I would need the tests, I was told "that's just how he does it." Plus you have to schedule a follow up appointment to get your lab results which is entirely unnecessary. When I explained my discomfort to Dr. Mian, he said that's just the way it was The staff are nice so that's the only plus but Dr Mian himself was curt and clearly does not care about his patients and their experiences. Dr. Patel was on call the morning I went into labor with our daughter (10 days early). She kept me…read morecalm as we experienced some irregularities in the baby's heart rate while using her extensive experience and knowledge to ensure the baby was never in harm. After hours of close monitoring and slow labor progression, Dr. Patel, my husband and I decided the best course of action for the baby was to move forward with a C-Section and relieve the baby of any additional stress. Again, her calmness helped to ease any of our concerns while hospital staff feverishly got me ready for surgery. Once the baby was born and passed all her tests with flying colors, Dr. Patel made every effort to ensure that my surgery was completed without any issues. This continued post-op and once we were settled into our room. Even after a full day of patients in the office and deliveries she was on call for, Dr. Patel came by in the evening before heading home to check on us. Our stellar experience with her continued postpartum as well. With all the follow up appointments and changes to our lives and family dynamics, she was there to provide support, counsel and advice. As we look to expand our family again in the future, we will absolutely continue to have her be our physician then and well into the future.

Special shoutout to the CWC online "portal," which gives you the idea that you're completing forms…read morein the 21st century, but actually operates like some of my other small practice doctors who ask me to extensively verify all my information every time I come in. I also agree that you can't really schedule an appointment via the portal because the portal doesn't connect to your doctor's schedule in any way, so it's just making a phone call with extra steps. The front desk WILL call you and they will offer appointments at extremely inconvenient times. So, while I agree with the other reviewers to a certain extent that the admin practices of this office are uniformly horrible, I would also like to give a shoutout to various doctors I've seen at the practice who have also been absolute garbage: * Dr. Norman: a surgeon who had to try two times to properly insert a copper IUD (for anyone who's had this done: you know how much that would suck) and then cut the strings too short so that I've had to have ultrasounds since then (the first one just a year or so after his "expert" insertion) to determine if it's still in place. Recently, I've discovered I can't get it removed in the standard way so I'm going to have to pay to have surgery to get it out. Although the current practitioner I saw at CWC assured me that insurance would cover -- yes, I understand and I also understand how coinsurance works in addition to the money I've already spent on the ultrasounds. If I didn't have insurance I wouldn't be able to afford to get this resolved. * Dr. DeQuattro: who I went to after my very non-pregnant self was producing milk under the delightful pressure of a mammogram. She ordered an additional mammogram and a breast ultrasound and told me that since it wasn't breast cancer it was just down to whether it "bothered" me or not. This was in 2020. * Dr. Munsen: Shoutout to her since I did happen mention the unfounded lactation in passing (remember, I was told that it was just a nuisance and not a real problem). She performed a blood test and said I should go see an endocrinologist. As it turns out, it was a small tumor on my pituitary gland. This was in 2022 so I burned 2 years not doing anything due to Dr. DeQuattro's "guidance." Since then, she's been more focused on telling me about her vacation plans and every so often casually recommending a hysterectomy. I've asked her several times why she's recommending such an extreme surgery and she's never given me a straight answer but, hey, if you've got doctor money go on those world tours I guess. On the whole, I'm sure there are great doctors in this practice. There sort of have to be on balance because CWC is gobbling up all the providers in the area. I didn't care for that when CVS did it and I didn't care for that when My Eye Doctor did it. Caveat emptor.
