It took me a while to work up the nerve to go see a therapist, but I am glad that I did. She worked with me on my specific anxieties and helped to change my thought patterns. She gave me skills that I now use when I am feeling anxious , and it helps. My life is definitely easier and not as fearful as it once was. I have ruined many relationships in the past and was scared to get involved. Rachel helped me to understand how my disorder affects those around me and how to control my anxieties. I feel more comfortable dating now and am looking forward to meeting someone I love.
