Insured beware, after nearly 30 years of homeowners insurance on at least two properties sometimes three over that time our first claim has become a nightmare. We were sold replacement cost and believed that meant matching repairs but apparently that is a different rider known as wrap around or something. Now that Donius took over Patterson I would run for the hills before working with this company. The adjuster told us that there should be a declination of wrap around in our file but when requested we were told there is none and they send out letters to communicate such matters. Those letters are formatted as sales brochures in our opinion and did not help anyone understand these nuances. Our very first claim in those 30 years and all we are getting are delays and denials and the adjuster hounding contractors that did come to estimate. read more
