We had seen lots of positive reviews about the Burger Business, so we headed out to Footscray for…read morelunch to check them out. The venue isn't very large, but overall it is set up nicely and maximises the space. There are a couple of tables outside too which is a good option to have. The staff there were really pleasant. We went inside and ordered the 'Supreme burger' with an added beef patty, the 'Bacon Feast burger' with an extra beef patty, bacon and cheese fries, and a vanilla and Nutella milkshake. Everything was reasonably priced, as majority of the pricing was the average of other competitors. We took a seat outside to wait. The shakes were brought out first. Both of them looked amazing - very simplistic in comparison to the crazy freakshakes on the market, but still great. Both flavours were creamy, rich and thick. The Nutella parfait on top of the shake was DELICIOUS. We could not get enough of it. Soon after, the bacon and cheese fries came out. It is a fairly small serving, but just enough to accompany a large burger. They were hot and crispy, and the chips were a thick cut. We loved the cheese sauce and bacon bits. This side was very impressive. Then our burgers followed. They looked great, particularly the 'Bacon Feast burger'. Despite the attractive aesthetic, we were unfortunately left slightly disappointed. The beef patties were cooked well, and we loved the fact that they weren't greasy or heavy - but to us they tasted a little bland, like there was a lack of seasoning and slight dryness. The cheese was melted well, and the bacon tasted nice. The 'Supreme burger' was also a bit of a letdown, having the same beef issue. We were hoping the avocado and aioli could offer some salvage but they didn't. Definitely not the worst burgers we've had, but there was room for improvement in our perspective. We are looking forward to going back to the Burger Business to give them another go, as their staff were great, and their shakes and sides were phenomenal.

Welcome to the neighbourhood Burger Business. Definitely worth a visit if you are from the west…read more The patties are cooked to a perfect pink keeping them soft and juicy and with the burgers ranging from $9-$13 the burgers are a bargain. A nice change in the area as currently their isn't much variety.

I was so distracted by how great the food looked and smelled I forgot to take photos of the entree and the mains but holy smokes they were divine! The place has such a chill and relaxing vibe, and the service was absolutely outstanding. They're super friendly, and super helpful, clearly run by a super close knit team I even had the privilege of chatting to the new owners who have just taken over and I'm so excited to have gotten to hear about all the plans for this place! I'm so excited to see where this place goes! If you're around the Footscray area go say hi!

Fox in the Corn is a beer bar that specializes in pasta. Beer and pasta??? Sign me up! There is a HUGE list of craft beers to pick from its overwhelming lol and all the reason why you'd go back! They have some wine as well and house sodas that you can request to have some vodka or other basic spirit to put in. There are 3 types of pastas to pick from and a good assortment of different sauces to pick from. My partner and i had fettuccine in creamy mushroom and leek sauce & spinach and ricotta ravioli in basil pesto and garlic panko sauce. They were both to die for. The pasta was cooked perfectly and each of the sauces had their own unique zing to it as was oh so creamy and buttery. They had a pork belly broth sauce that i so will be going back to try!!! If pasta is too heavy for you they also offer cheese and meat boards - again i am super keen to go back and try. Shout out to who i think is the owner - he was super nice, super helpful, super enthusiastic and clearly proud of the establishment. Was always on the ball with making sure the customers were right and was keen to hear on feedback of any sort. He also informed us that eventually they will be able to allow customers to buy beers to takeaway! Do yourself a favor - if you're ever in the area and don't feel like an 8bit burger then give this place a shot! I'll def be a returning customer. Good work guys!

Food was delicious and so satisfying and meals were perfectly timed between each serve. Dat and I shared each meal with each other so we ordered most dishes and can't wait to go again to try what we couldn't fit it. * Entree* Perfectly cooked scallops. Escargot with a mushroom sauce and bread to soak up the sauce. *Mains* Salmon in a puff pastry filled with rice and egg and a lemony white sauce. Special of the Day was Steak with Duck fat potatoes, salad and Pate *Dessert* Vanilla Creme Brûlée Poached Pear with a house made chocolate sauce topped with Vanilla ice cream and Almonds for a nutty Crunch I've never had steak and pate together so this blew my mind, I will never make it without it again. We made a booking online and dinner was prepaid at time of booking. Make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Thanks for being a lovely host Stefan, can't wait to visit you again
