They indicated they would be back later to pick it up. They did not. When contacting the HomeDepot customer service via text, they offered that it can be picked up over 4 days later! and that the company only delivers certain days. What does not make sense is, why did they not have space for a haul away (that's their job); and why did they not come back when they said they would. Home Depot needs to reconsider whom they source their deliveries with. I, for one, will not purchase another appliance for delivery unless they manage the delivery themselves; not subcontracts. As an aside, the one of the delivery persons asked me if I were Fillipino (which is quite inappropriate); especially given I'm quite clearly a very pale Caucasian.

I was very impressed with the amount of beautiful advertising and memorabilia from the early 1900's. The quality is outstanding and with the exchange rate the prices are very fair. I spent several hours here browsing and talking with the owner and a seller. It's very rare to find a store with such a large selection of quality merchandise. I wish this was a place I could frequently visit I hope to have an opportunity to return someday soon.

Kingston, Ontario is a great town with one drawback: A lot of the stores and restaurants are closed…read moreon Sundays. Fortunately, there's plenty to see, do, eat... and shop for. The shopping gem I happened upon was the Kingston Sunday Antique Market, found at the on King St, between Market & Brock Street ... or, as the way I stumbled upon it, by following the cocophony of sound from behind the town's grandiose City Hall. Considering the sturdy rain earlier in the day, it's existence (which IS weather permitting) was a pleasant surprise. Vendors whipped off their rain-beaded tarps and the market was in full force after the sun came out. It isn't some half-a**ed glorified garage sale. You'll find vintage furniture (especially chairs, bookshelves, and dressers), product signs, jewelry, toy cars, books, sports cards, trunks, art work, books, old political ephemera, plenty of tempting NHL stuff, pottery, records (and even a few 8-tracks!), retro kitchen stuff, old intricate teapots ... I could go on forever. You'll also find local merchants like Ladybug Antiques & More at the market. So if in Kingston on a Sunday, early April through late October from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., I highly recommend visiting Kingston's lovely market.
