Moved into a new home that needed lots of TLC. Hired this contractor, JOSHUA N LALLO LLC, through a…read morerecommendation. The beginning projects were completed and satisfactory. He was always paid on time and his exact quote. My daughter & I gave him so much such as kitchen appliances & all types of beautiful living room, dining room & bedroom furniture. We didn't charge him a dime nor did he give us a discount. In the beginning Mr. Lallo was present and worked on the projects. After sometime he was working onsite and left the projects to his workers. Well this is when the nightmare started. Jobs were unsatisfactory, a water valve was left open in my kitchen which flooded my new hardwood kitchen floors and new cabinet. A memorial statue in honor of my late veteran husband was broke and covered up. Finally, the remodeling of a bathroom was horrible and I spoke with Mr. Lallo. He stated (in front of 3 witnesses) he would come the next day (6/3/2023) to redo and correct the bathroom. Well he never returned, no call, didn't answer text or emails. His cost for this job was $11,700, not including supplies. He was paid over $7,000 & the balance would be paid at the end. Unfortunately, he didn't want to take responsibility or pay for the errors his workers caused. He lied, has posted false jobs on his Facebook page and Joshua Lallo LLC took the cowardly approach and disappeared. DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUDULENT CONTRACTOR.

Installed new stair treads and rebuilt some of stairs that required it. He also gave us some ideas on work we whaving done by others contractors. He was great to work with. I can't believe it has taken me 6 months to give a review because I was truly pleased with his work.

Stop right here. Look nowhere else. I have done the legwork for you!…read more In 2018 we had Steve and at least 5 other contractors come out to give us a quote on our kitchen remodel. After meeting Steve, there was an authenticity about him that none of the other contractors possessed. Every question that we asked him, he was up front, honest and listened intently to our wants and needs. After receiving many quotes, unfortunately then, we knew we had to save up before we could afford to have our kitchen done. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and we were ready to take the plunge! We knew that Steve was our guy. We gave him a call, he came back out several times to take measurements, design, etc. We had a start date of March 2020. Surprise... COVID! Everything was in limbo and we decided it was best to wait. Finally come August 3rd, 2020 Steve and his helper started demo work. Our final completion date was mid October. During construction time, I had two other friends getting their kitchens done as well. The horror stories they told me of their contractors being late, not being honest, charging more than what the contract stated, etc. had my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot finding Steve. Many contractors now a days sub everything out and don't lift a finger. Not this guy! He is there every day, doing the work, and is passionate about his craft. He is meticulous and will not cut corners, leaving you a project that you are proud of. Steve is arguably the hardest working human my husband and I have ever met. When you hire Steve, you don't just get a contractor, you get a friend...that turns into family. My husband, my two children and I fell in love with Steve. He brought us joy daily during the two months he was with us and has become part of our extended family. We miss seeing him frequently, but now get to enjoy the work he did on our home daily. All of our friends and family that have walked into our home think we hired a high end contractor and designer for our project. We hired an expert handyman - the name says it all. Expert work at a fair price. Future customers, you can thank me later. ;)

He says he'll be there this week. Ok. Great. No show again. Call again. After several phone calls and messages, he finally answers, "who's this?" Finally says, "ill be there Tuesday or Thursday, but probably Thursday". Those days come and go. No show on both. I talk to him on Thursday afternoon. "Where were you" "we got caught up...." (excuses excuses excuses). "I'll be there tomorrow" "tomorrow you say? You've told me that at least 4 times. Are you actually going to be there this time?" "Yes, we'll be there tomorrow". "OK, I expect you to be there" Was he there? Ha, nope. Don't call this guy. He won't answer, he won't call back, he won't do the work. If he does answer his phone with "who's this?" Find someone else. He'll waste your time with phone calls and BS excuses. Jack, if you're reading this, you're the epitome of a technician that thinks they can run a business. You need to read the E-myth Revisited, by Michael Gerber.

I coordinated with J&L to have the roof replaced ASAP after settlement, and he delivered. Got everything done in short order once I gave the green light, and did a great job. His prices are very fair, their work shows that they actually take pride in providing a quality job. It's nice to know that if I ever have a question or problem, Jack is a phone call away
