The quote ($996) was a bit high but I felt he would do a good job based on January's experience. Again I had to pay in advance. He applied one (out of six) application ... it seemed to work. Then we started talking about re-seeding the back yard and the two sides. I agreed to the price($1,396) and again I had to pay in advance. Then Lawn Dogs went dark. I sent many messages to him ... but no response. So I disputed the pre-payment of $1,396. He got all bent out of shape. So I reversed the charge ... which he said he did not get. (I sent him a picture of my credit card page where it showed the reversal.) I couple of times he said he would be here on a Tuesday ... never showed up. Last week we traded several messages ... I told him I wanted my money back. To date no response and no money. I would not recommend this company.

Today, the owner came to my door and told us not to speak to his workers about moving the truck, but to call the number on the truck or the police instead. He insisted they were legally parked and characterized it as a minor inconvenience. However, the sheriff's department told us that blocking a driveway with the truck or the lowered gate is not legal. The owner also questioned why we need to leave every time they are there, which is none of his business. We have places to go, and we should not have to repeatedly deal with a blocked driveway just to come and go from our own home. When we called his behavior gaslighting, he responded by insulting us and saying we were too old to use that word. He also said he would tell his workers to park there, which came across as a threat rather than an attempt to resolve the problem. The entire interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. Rather than take responsibility for an ongoing issue and work toward a solution, the owner was dismissive, argumentative, and disrespectful. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. Edited to respond I most certainly did not yell at anyone, anytime they've been out, including today. I simply asked them to move. Lawn equipment is going & I'm across the street so naturally I have to raise my voice to be heard. To clarify, I have left on previous occasions when I've asked the crew to move so I could access my driveway. The owner has not been present during those incidents. He became involved today, when he came to my door to confront me about asking his crew to move. The trailer or gate has repeatedly been left down and blocking my driveway. It was blocking the driveway when the owner came to my door today. Today was the only time I did not leave, because I went inside to contact the sheriff's department regarding his behavior. My concern has always been the repeated obstruction of my driveway and the way my concerns have been handled. I stand by my review.

I can't say enough good things about this company! They're at my home just about every other week, and I never have to call to ask if they're coming. I'm able to relax and pretty much forget about my lawn because I know it's being taken care of. There's no goofing off from any of the crew members. Each member seems to have their own job, which makes the service so much more efficient. The main concern I had about hiring someone was that my pool enclosure does not have a guard on it. So, I was quick to tell Will not to weed eat along the edge, I would have my husband do it so they don't tear the screen. My concern was addressed immediately, and I was assured they could do it and not tear my screen. We've been a client for a few months, now, and they weed eat along the edges of my enclosure without any mistakes. I'm thrilled! That's one less task for the hubs! We also hired Will's Lawn Care to help my mother-in-law who was in a bind. She had just moved into a 55+ mobile home community, where the previous owner had rocks for a lawn. My MIL received a notice from the park that she had a certain amount of time to get sod planted. We called Will and he promptly helped us out with the service. Within a week or two, he had his whole team laying sod at my MIL house and was done within hours. Then, he took it a step further and checked on her lawn since he was in the area with another client. That little something extra is just not heard of anymore. The customer service is fantastic, and I've never expected to find such an incredible company. I hope and pray they never leave the area.
