Mike and team did a great job repairing our large deck and painting the entire cabin. Very thorough painting and quality repairs. There were a few minor fixes that I thought still needed addressing after they finished, and Mike came out almost immediately to make sure they were "done right and done tight"! We live in a older home (built in the late 40's)- when we first moved in you could tell remodeling had just been done. New tile, new carpet, paint- but some things were just missing, and over time we have updated our home. So a brief history: First thing we had done was add a hood range for the kitchen- and Done Right came in installed the unit, and made the modifications to get it properly vented thru the roof. Excellent work- happy wife- happy life. Our attic space was abnormally warm during the summer, Done Right came in and brought some east coast solutions and craftsmanship and installed a cobra vent system in our roof- and the temp dropped considerably. Once again excellent work. Now time for a major renovation- remember older home. Single full bathroom in the home, and after 10 years time for a change. So contacted Done Right- and three weeks later (we asked for a lot)- job is complete. All we can say is- day and night results. We have hired Done Right Construction for a third time because they have proven their skills, professionalism, and stand by their work. As seen in the attached photos, our contractor installed an absolutely custom and beautiful light masterpiece in our kitchen. We had exhausted ourselves trying to find the perfect kitchen light... Without success. Mike suggested a customer light fixture and showed us an option he created in another home. I could barely contain my excitement and my husband's response was equally displayed. I really appreciate Mike and team with the work they have done. With COVID and working from home, we interfere them quite a bit and ask a lot of questions. They were very professional and explained the detail on every steps on the projects. Mike gave me a very good advice on ordering the front door during our consultation, and we were very pleased with the final results after the installation. Also, before the project start date, I requested Mike if he could come over to install the TV first as living with a four year old without TV was quite a challenge. His team showed up the next day after business hour to install the TV for us. That was very helpful. Our projects was a little over a week long. But within this short time, we became friends. We have had a problem shower since we moved into our then brand new construction house 9 years ago. We've had our builder out to "fix" it several times only to have the problem resurface. Once out of warranty, we had also had it serviced by someone from our insurance company while we rented it out for a few years and again by a plumber when we moved back in. The last plumber told us it wasn't a plumbing issue, but recaulked the shower enclosure for good measure. When Mike got here with his plumber he thoroughly investigated every possible water source in the wall at the pipes and finally determined that the drain had never been sealed properly in the first place causing water to leak into the foundation and then pool in the wall. He also scraped out all the old decayed grout/caulking and resealed it with mildew resistant silicone caulking. He was quick and efficient in investigating the source, solving the problem, putting everything back together, and cleaning up. A project I thought might take a week, was done in a day. Not only was he thorough, but I homeschool my four kids so his presence in our home was obviously an exciting, though expected slight distraction to our school day. Mike was great about letting the kids watch and explaining all the things he was doing to them during the process and explaining how stuff like math was important to what he does. read more
