this is the second time I've taken my car to them to have something fixed and it not be fixed. They told me the issue was fixed, I paid them and left. By the time I got home my check engine light was on again. I took it to Oreilly's auto parts to use their machine to run the codes the check engine light was showing. It was the same exact code that was on before I took it to get fixed. I go back to the dealership to let them know and they say they thought it was one thing but it's something else and id have to pay some more money. So ultimately it felt like i paid $370 for absolutely nothing. I will not be bringing my car back, seems like a money grab. read more

Was at Dondelinger chev in Baxter Mn today for a oil change. 2nd inline for oil change at the so called quick lube. It took 2 hrs for a simple oil change. This service department doesn't care about your time. This has been a on going problem there for a long time but they refuse to do anything about it. Rude customer service. Will not be buying any more vehicles there and will probably have service work done elsewhere. I try to support local businesses but when you get service like this I will go elsewhere. read more

Horrible dealer! Terrible service department...lies and more lies. Damages to two vehicles and had to argue to get them fixed. My husband and I bought two vehicles from this dealership. Having had no problems since, we brought our 2008 Callaway Corvette in for service. The car had been modified but was approved for dealer repair by GM. During the repair, a technician opened the cover of the main computer (labeled in large yellow letters DO NOT FLASH - CALL CALLAWAY) and flashed the computer, resetting this MODIFIED CAR to factory standards. Some time later, we had to replace BOTH catalytic converters to the tune of $3,000.00. We asked Dondelinger to split the cost of the repair, and he refused. We gathered together all our paperwork, photos of the warning label, odometer reading and a letter from Pete Callaway explaining the mistakes that the repair department made, and took him to court. Despite PAGES of evidence, he won. Do not buy a car from this facility - they do not stand by their word, the repair shop is incompetent and they have no ethics. read more

I disagree with the other reviews. We've had nothing but excellent service here. It is the only place we bring all 3 of our vehicles and they're always on-time, courteous, and go the extra mile. They have drivers bring you to where you need to go and will pick you up when your vehicle is finished. Their waiting room is small if you choose to stay, but there are magazines and coffee and a small tv. I would recommend their service department to anyone! I am not all that impressed with their actual car salespeople, but we've never bought a vehicle here so I can't fairly attest to that. read more

Dealership is poorly run. I was in the market for a new used vehicle and stopped in. First thing I noticed was the feeling like they hadn't seen a human in weeks and they were ready to pounce. They have a female salesperson who really should be talked to on proper etiquette for dressing and how to talk to people appropriately. I was embarrassed for the dealership as a whole on they way she was dressed or lack thereof. Seems the attire there is dressy but not her!!! read more

After not finding much for reviews on this repair shop I brought my BMW in for major bodywork. Every aspect of the experience was a disaster. Jeff the service manager would lie to my face, the project was Two months over due, and they disregarded all of my concerns. In the end, I picked the car up and it still was not complete. The car had major mechanical problems from the accident so we took it to Ford in Bemidji because I wouldn't have this business do anything for me again. I have since brought all my work to Kevin at Ford and the service is First class. read more

I am in my 60's, and have never had such a great relationship with any auto dealership! I have purchased 2 new Chevrolets from them, and both times my salesman went to other dealerships to get cars with the exact features and colors I/spouse wanted. On both trade-ins they gave us high blue book, or matched what other dealers calculated for trade. Watching the web, and timing purchases to maximize dealer incentives, pricing was okay. The service department has always been reliable, both on warranty and scheduled service. They also detected a C/v boot that needed replacement, during a regular oil change, that I had caused in water/mud testing of my 4wd on a nice spring day in the boondocks. Also great on a car rental during a warranty work that needed parts overnight. They have a shuttle to go wherever you want in town, or easy walk to multiple stores, restaurants, or mall. Beats sitting waiting in the lounge! Overall, a five star dealer. BTW, manager responds to online service scheduling after hours. Amazing! read more
