Again, worth at least another half star.
Two of us came in for a drink and some dinner. We were told to make a booking and very glad we did. The place was packed inside and outside.
We ordered some agreen Lipped Mussels for a starter to share. Then Two Catch of the Day mains; one pan fried and the other battered. The catch of the day was Gurnet. It was fresh and cooked perfectly. Very yummy.
The restaurant had a small "pub" flavour and was just friendly and cosy.
The meals were slightly pricey but the quality made up for it. read more
