Our nurse, Amanda, was kind, attentive, and compassionate. She listened carefully to all of my concerns, asked thoughtful questions, and was so gentle with Thumper. Before we left, she also took the time to clearly explain the three medications Thumper now needs, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Esteban Baezsa was outstanding. It is clear he is highly knowledgeable about exotic animals, which gave me immediate confidence. He listened patiently, performed a thorough exam, and recommended an X-ray to get answers. When he returned, he explained everything in detail, showed me the X-ray, and let me know that Thumper did not have parasites but was showing the early signs of pneumonia. His upbeat, positive personality and clear communication brought me such relief after days of worry. I knew the challenges that owning an English Bulldog brings....and let's just say my fur baby has most of them! Foremost a tight corkscrew tail which was a multiple daily, not so pleasant for dog and an owner, experience of cleaning and treating to prevent tail pocket issues. After a few years of dealing with this, the smell and stains and most importantly having a not so happy puppy I decided to see a new vet who could remove his tail... one visit with Dr. Liz resulted in immediately diagnosis that due to one undescended testicle, which my other vet dismissed as a non issue, was causing an over production from his anal gland and if left the testicle would cause cancer. Right now my boy has his tail... no more testicle... smells like a dream and most importantly is happy and healthy! I can not thank Dr. Liz and her staff enough! They made my dog and myself very comfortable from day one and really hung in there with us and didn't give up on helping my dog through this!! Since changing to Sycamore Vet my experience was fantastic. Dr. Weiss was excellent in caring for my little girl. Most recently, I received a card in the mail signed by every one at Sycamore vet sending their condolences. It was unexpected and absolutely appreciated. I just remember when Melody was being to show signs of arthritis. Dr. Weiss prescribed a couple meds which almost immediately resolved the symptoms. Can't say enough abt my positive experience with Sycamore other than to say I wish I'd taken her there sooner. Excellent group of people at Sycamore. If I ever decided to get another dog I would most definitely bring her here. Thanks!

They have no regular appointments for two weeks. So you can't even schedule in for the poor sick pet. I had to go to an emergency animal hospital, Also they won't schedule multiple pet appointments for regular check up. I was told because if you cancel it ruins there schedule! I had been going for years. Dr Neubaurer was the greatest! He saw all my pets together. Now there is no customer service and they could care less about your pet!!!! I had to schedule with BetterVet to have my pets get their yearly check up and vaccinations. After 7 years of loyalty! Find a place that actually cares about animals and your business!!!
