The atmosphere felt like a place where time either slows down or speeds up depending on how long you stare at your cup. The barista seemed to understand my order before I said it, which was comforting and mildly unsettling. I left more awake than when I arrived, but not entirely sure if it was because of the coffee or the existential clarity it provided. Either way, I'll definitely be back, unless I already am.

This coffee spot fulfilled our every need during our week stay in Belmont! They have multiple single origin coffee options that can be prepared as a pour over, aero press, French press, or siphon! We tried all of them over the course of the week from the Ethiopian, Mexican, and Honduran beans. Even their drip and iced coffee measures up. One slight demerit for there being some grounds in the drip. The coffee cake is also moist and delicious! The male barista with the red hair was so friendly and accommodating the entire week as we entered each late morning. Plenty of seating out front, within the coffee bar area, and out back.

Overall service was very good; our server was pleasant, attentive and patient throughout our stay. Our party mostly ordered the various burger options ( all were juicy and served with mayo ) served with either fries or a side salad and I'd recommend the Hangover Burger myself. The spicy chicken sandwich was another good option for chicken lovers. Again we passed on the pastries but the ice cream was very good. I again witnessed the tale of two restaurants as the primary business and labor focus appears to be on the ice cream, baked goods and pastries side which did impact the in dining side service of the business. They don't wear name tags so you literally have to ask the person behind the bar who is making your drink and that's just weird. Great way to promote reviews but maybe get name tags? Also, the girl who was helping me seems to not know how customer service works and looks like she's never smiled in her life.
