I eat here alot never had a bad meal or service. The food is always delicious. I like the decor very colorful.

Tried this place while out of town on a trip. Food was waaaay over priced. We ordered take out. $15 for a 12 oz cheese dip? $4.05 plus tax for a tiny 4 oz cheese dip. Fajitas for one were overpriced at nearly $20 too. Food taste was a let down. The cheese dip and beans were the best items, even though the cheese dip was clumpy (which means overcooked). They give you salsa in teeny tiny dipping sauce size cups that you can't even fit the chips in. Also can't fit the chips in the tiny 4 oz cheese dip cups either. Chips were overcooked, tough, and too thick. My husband nearly cut his gums trying to eat them. Salsa was meh and there was barely any of it. Fajitas didn't taste like they were seasoned at all and were really watery. Really? How lazy do you have to be to not add salt and pepper? Steak was way overcooked and rubbery. Rice, guac, and pico weren't seasoned either. Way too expensive for such mediocre food. I know top tier Mexican food and this was not it. I can make much better food at home. Would not recommend and would not waste money here again. Go somewhere else! read more

Best margaritas in town, hands down! The food is just as good--we're hooked on the Trios Chimichangas with rice and beans. The servers are always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and we find ourselves coming back every week or two. We were in town for a family funeral and needed some good food & margarita. This was a welcome place, very quick and the margaritas were so good! Everything was pretty standard Mexican food, but that's said as a good thing. Chimichangas were delicious, lots of chicken & beef, good sides. We asked for hot salsa & it was extra $2.25 (just fyi) Would go again when we are back in town. read more

The food was EXCELLENT!! I can definitely see why the restaurant was given 5 stars by everyone who came here. Some of the most authentic food I've had in a long time. Comparable to Mexican food in Texas. My husband and I decided to share 1 serving of shrimp, steak and chicken fajitas. It was just enough food for us and fantastic in knowing that we didn't have to buy double the amount and have lots of leftovers. My Gramma and Papa ended up getting the same thing that we did; and they ended up having a little bit of leftovers. The reasons I gave it 4 stars: (1) There was absolutely no toilet paper in the women's bathroom, not even like an extra roll. We came there around lunch time; and it wasn't super busy, so I would have thought that before they opened, they would have checked that. Having to wipe with a paper towel is quite a bit harsh. (2) I expected the chips to be warm and fresh; and they were cold, which is not what I cared for. Anywho, my husband and I will still be back, should we end up in this little town again. read more

We obviously found where the locals go because we were out one night recently trying to go to those "popular" chains but one had limited staff and a long wait and the other didn't have a single open parking spot. This was third on our list so we decided to try it. We were seated right away and were served chips and salsa as we were sitting down. We knew immediately by the first few freshly fried chips and wonderfully seasoned salsa that we had lucked out!! Everything was amazing!! I had a chicken fajita bowl and my friend had a steak taco salad. Our kids had chicken tenders, quesadillas and tacos and when I say we couldn't fit another bite into our mouths I mean it!! We ate until we couldn't! I'd recommend this place a thousand times over those more popular spots for sure! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area! read more

So I ordered a monster burrito, and when i was around 4 minutes to being home, the first ache hit me. I had to hold the wheel with one hand because my other was on my stomach. When i was home, i was convinced it was too late. I ran in, but i couldn't make it. Solid Mexican place here but not really the best Mexican food I ever had. The chips absolutely make the 3 stars worth it- probably the best Chips I've ever had. The salsa was good, nothing special about it- not too hot. The margarita was a little disappointing- maybe not the right mix but whatever I drank it. The burrito was super disappointing. It honestly was kind of cold- the cheese sauce was very cold. The inside of the burrito was warm; but the cheese was cold. The burrito lacked a lot of flavor and spice in there. Ate here after seeing lights in the discovery park. This was by far the best Mexican I've EVER had!! My only gripe is that if you get the el comal, that they spread the beans on a corn tortilla and the rice portion isn't a lot compared to the amount of meat you get! Their service is top tier!!! Pricing isn't bad either! For 6 people (2 couples & 2 kids) we only spent 100 and that was getting 2 entrees for each couple 2 rice w/ cheese and a pitcher of margarita & 2 bowls of cheese dip!! The chips and salsa are good. The rest, not so much. Fajitas were cold, had to ask for tortillas. The flour tortillas were tough and chewy.

I don't usually give 5 stars. But this place was absolutely amazing. I had the Burrito Chipotle with a side of pico de gallo. My wife had the taco salad (ground beef). The kids got their usual - two beef tacos for the boy and a cheese quesadilla for the girl. My burrito was fantastic! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the chipotle sauce on the burrito was slightly spicy and very good. The beans and rice were perfect, too. Their salsa was fresh and chunky. The only thing I'd change is I'd like it a little spicier. But I'm not complaining. I tried my wife's taco salad, and that's where I bumped it up to 5 stars. The ground beef was soooo good! We eat El Acapulco in Jonesboro weekly, but I'm sorry... this is hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had. My family agrees! We love it. It's the best choice for Mexican in Union City. The only one with good service AND good food. Salsa is just perfect. We never have any complaints!! Updating because apparently I never finished my review....! Blake LOVES the steak and shrimp plate, I always get the fiesta fajitas plate. Decor is great clean food was timely well priced large portions service was okay. Just remember to ask for everything you want. More napkins, ask. More shells, ask. Refill on drinks, ask. Really good food for a really great price. We had two adult entrees, two children's entrees, four drinks, and a dessert all for under $50 including tip! We went for dinner and it was a packed house but our server was very attentive. Our food came out quickly and our drinks were always full. Food was flavorful and cooked well. We had two toddlers and a baby in a car seat. They were very accommodating. Would highly recommend for families. read more

I loved this restaurant when they first opened but after a year or two of being open they have totally disappointed. The service was great, waitress did an awesome job. I ordered a taco salad fajita bowl. When it came out there was maybe a tablespoon of meat in it and the bell peppers and part of the onions were raw. The shell was soggy as well. I have been here twice in the last last month. First visit my wife ordered shrimp tacos and I ordered carne asada. We received our food very quickly. My wife got her shrimp tacos and they looked and smelled good. I received carne asada tacos. After I told my waiter about this he proceeded to disagree with me about what I had ordered. After a couple minutes he finally checked the the ticket and realized I was right and said he would get my carne asada right out. So for the next 25 minutes I was told several times my order was coming right up. The manager even told the same thing when he came over to check on us. The food was good but not worth the wait at all Second visit i ordered a Sol beer my wife ordered un sweet tea. They brought us chips and salsa then took our orders. Finally they brought 2 un sweet teas. I tried to get the guys attention to tell him of the mistake. He just kept on walking. We were never checked on again til our food arrived. The waiter asked if I wanted more tea. I said no but I really would like the beer I ordered. After a few more minutes I got my beer. Never once did receive a apology for either of these instances. Nor was anything done by the manager after telling them about any of this. I will never go back here. It was so bad I tried to leave no stars but it would not me so I had to leave one star. read more
