Fowler Paving - Sand for filling holes

    Fowler Paving

Fowler has always been the guys I've called when I need gravel. They will come pave a driveway or a…read moreroad, but keep them in mind for gravel too. I've already got more than 100 tons of gravel. My drive is 3 or 400 feet and has room for a dozen cars without anyone being blocked in. Over time gravel sinks in and washes away. It's a never ending story having to buy more every couple years. I'm a good customer. I just had another 20 tons delivered. The driver parked in the road and walked all the way down the drive to meet with us. He didn't want to get on our driveway without permission. We walked to the spot I wanted to dump it and after looking at the dump site, he backed his truck in. He was very careful and let only a little out at a time and pulled the truck up a couple times to make sure we had our pile exactly where we wanted it. You would have had to be there to see it, but he was very professional. I almost asked him to move it a little to the right once it was dumped, but I thought nope, too much. Now I've got to wait for dry weather so the bobcat can do all the dirt work I need as well as spreading the rock. They sell all kinds of gravel and rock. I prefer the 33C limestone. I've pulled my trailer up there several times and had them load it. I can only carry about 3 tons, but they will deliver 20 tons in a dump truck. They are open some Saturdays in nice weather so call ahead before you haul your trailer down there. Thank you guys!

Martin Construction - Broken main line to irrigation system

Beware of Mark Martin! In the last year I have paid him more than $30,000.00 for what turned out to…read morebe shotty incomplete work and damages to my home and property. Mark installed a new roof, amd repaired and expanded our driveway. His work has left us with a stained ceiling, damaged gutter guards, and a destroyed irrigation system. His refusal to address the issues has left me having to foot the bill for repairs. Portions of the new driveway will have to be removed just to hopefully save part of the irrigation system but other parts will never be able to be repaired. Our dream home has been irreparably damaged and Mark refuses to do anything about it. He is a great salesman, but a shyster of a contractor.

Neighbors hired this company to build their fence. On the first day of construction, Martin…read moreConstruction cut my internet line while digging. Because I work from home, "inconvenience" doesn't even describe how put out I was for several days. Mind you, the ground was spray painted on the ground where lines were. They claimed that where they dug was "the safe zone", but whatever...I don't build fences for a living and I honestly don't care about any of that. What really pissed me off was that when I reached out to them regarding the entire situation, no one bothered returning my calls. They told our neighbor that they (Martin Construction) had reached out to the internet company to come out and repair the line. Really...? That's funny...because The internet company received no other inquiries other than from myself regarding a necessary repair. And after several days of having to work from my damn cell phone, I reached out again...this time to update them that the line had to be completely replaced (because it was unrepairable) and to let them know that the new line would be exposed for some weeks before it would be buried so if/when they came back to finish the job they barely started, they would know to be mindful of it. But still...no one has called me back. I get it...I'm not your customer. I'm not the one putting a check in your pocket so why call me back, right!? Yes, it was an accident. Yes, you apologized. But your accident was the massive inconvenience to my ability to do my job. And your apology didn't fix the problem that, accident or not, was your fault. There is something called courtesy...and it's clear that your company has zero seeing as how you cannot even return a phone call. If ever someone mentions the need to have a fence built, my only goal will be to make sure that they do not hire you.
