My grandson wanted to come here to celebrate his birthday. This place was located right inside the door of a small mall. Very small tired looking space. Wasn't sure how it was going to go, we had a party of 8 including the two kids and there seemed to be a problem how we were to be seated without getting separate tables. Finally we were able to add two tables together. Waiter was quick to get our drinks and brought one basket of chips and salsa to the table, Me and my husband were the only ones getting unsweetened tea which we returned for water due to what we thought was a bad taste that couldn't be explained, water then was highly chlorinated. (Get a soda)When the rest of our party arrived we still had only one basket of chips. Waiter did over hear me say that they should know better for a table of eight to bring only one basket and one salsa, so he quickly brought out another. Chips were good, salsa could have been chunkier but good flavor. We all ordered our meals and I asked if they did anything for birthdays and he said yeah but they were out of fried ice cream but could bring my disappointed grandson churro's, which by the way later they forgot, and no singing. (Sad) grandson got rice and chicken tenders, hmmmm, picture says it all, granddaughter got a cheese quesadilla and rice, which was good, (all the rice needed more seasoning it was very bland)my daughter got a beef enchilada and I got a cheese enchilada with queso, I will tell you I have had lots of cheese enchiladas all over and I believe this one was by far the best I have ever had, (surprise) so very happy there. Family also got a queso on the side, very good, but pricy and son-in-law got a house special, it was ok and then the star of the show my husband got a Molcajete especial for one for us to share. We did have to ask where the flour tortillas were which he quickly brought. But this was by far the best tasting thing on the table and highly impressive when it showed up smoking and sizzling, full of charred bell peppers and onions, chicken, beef, boneless pork ribs, shrimp, chorizo, melted cheese with a side of rice, beans, guacamole, lettuce and sour cream and the three flour tortillas, this was good, good, good. We will be back just to get another Molcajete for sure. Not sure how consistent it will be but guess we will find out. The waiter did tell us that since we were a table of eight tip was already added. I might assume they add it to every receipt so make sure before you leave another. Waiter was very friendly and quick to help, food did come out hot. I really wanted to give this place more stars but this visit just didn't make it. read more
