I'm so happy I gave this place a shot. Jimmy was the best. He was patient with me and listened first to what I had to say before starting. At no point did I feel rushed; especially considering I booked for the last hour before they close shop. Everyone there was extremely friendly and, more importantly, made me feel welcomed. That was another thing I was hoping for. It's takes a while before a place feels "like home." I can confidently say this place gives me those vibes and I look forward to returning. In truth it's a little pricier than what I usually got in the past. However, it's well worth it. I received advice on how to groom my beard, I got a solid haircut that'll last me weeks, and the entire time I felt great at the seat. In all, this is the kind of place I wish I could keep to myself as a secret. But alas they also deserve the recognition.

He knew I was nervous about his first true barbershop cut and was super cool about it. He cut to a point and asked if I wanted it shorter or not. We walked through it together, and my son could not have been happier. I'm comfortable enough to let my son go here regularly without me having to take him. This is a true barbershop. No frills. No gimmicks. Just honest to goodness good. My boys don't have a father so it was nice to see all the men welcoming each other and chatting and laughing. My boys seemed to enjoy the positive male camaraderie. Watching all the men take turns and working together to teach math to one of the stylist's daughters made my day. I even teared up a little. It was super sweet. The music they played was uplifting and "safe for the little ears" which really made this place awesome.

First things first: This is a cheap barbershop $17 for a cut so you are 100% gonna get what you paid. Not to mention its all boomers so dont expect them to do any crazy good fades or blends like younger barbers do. So, the guy cutting my hair didn't do the best job. When i expressed concern about wanting to cut my hair lower due to a cowlick he was like oh well if you want to do a 1 or half zero thats like a whole new haircut which implied he would have to charge me again, i said forget it. Point is, i wasnt happy with the cut and i had to end up having to do it myself and fixing it. Save yourself the trouble and go out and pay a little more extra to get a quality haircut from people who will actually put in the work and not complain when you ask them to cut your hair shorter.
