I spent over an hour and a half before Barcelona's match against Juventus, which I hoped to attend, looking around and trying to find a place with all the requirements
1. Decent food
2. Looks and smells nice
3. They understand sin gluten and I won't be ill
I came into Domino's, expecting all three of these to be correct based on my experience with UK stores, knowing they offer gluten free pizza, the store seemed really different to what I'm used to, which was strange considering its' the same brand just a few hundred miles away from each other in foreign countries.
When I came into the store, I was left waiting for a few minutes and was given no apology for my wait.
When I asked about sin gluten, the young server just seemed to laugh before getting someone and telling me there would be no products I could have and they don't offer it.
The store lacks many other essentials and barely offers eating in, it is a typical Domino's in that sense it is built for one purpose only to takeaway, and the seating looks like it is only there for people to wait for their food and isn't the most comfortable to sit and eat for anybody.
Overall, due to staff attitudes, lack of choice for coeliacs myself to the point where it doesn't meet the Domino's standards in the UK, I feel this branch really lets Domino's down and I really hope all stores in Barcelona, or even the whole country of Spain are not like this, deserving a one star rating. read more
