But after they had stripped the old shingles off they claimed that they needed to replace sheathing and other things and that the work would cost $60,000. (The sheathing was perfectly fine and could easily have been checked before they gave us an estimate.) We had to re-negotiate with literally no roof over our heads. The work was finally done properly but costing almost 4 times what they had quoted. And they left nails in our driveway and on our yard and deck, where our young children kept finding them. They also used my ladder without permission and broke it. Avoid United Pro no matter what they quote!

My issue is 90% of everything ended up needing to be repaired afterwards... things were put on wrong /backwards (shower door), messed up my bathroom door where it wouldn't close anymore, did a job with tiles in bathroom and made a decision without consulting with me and I hated the results and told him so I'm stuck with it unless I pay to have it redone. Getting in touch with him and to return was challenging. I was told they would start on a certain date to fix the mistakes.... This is after months and renegotiating when they could come. The reason my ratings aren't lower is because Paulie did send his men to fix the issues (I sent pictures that were undeniable that the work was not up to standards). I decided to push for a week day (which he told me numerous of times it was easier to schedule). 2 men showed up and did a GREAT JOB in fixing the previous issues.
