The vibes in the salon were great. Everyone was super friendly and sweet, they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable constantly asking me for coffee and if I was ok. And they played music and had really fun vibes. So although I was there for a couple of hours it was ok bc of the energy in the salon. It's based by appointment so I was attended right away, but depending on what you get, prepare to spent a significant amount of time there. I saw girls that were in and out fairly quickly. But those that were getting some type of dye applied to their hair were there with me for quite some time. It is a little on the pricey side but I think that's ok bc I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for. So the results and the service was def worth the price.

On top of the technician being 10 minutes late with no prior client, the entire tail of my brow was taken off without permission. Then I was told I didn't walk in with that hair to begin with, it "looks fine" and it will "grow back fast". I had to ask for their makeup artist to teach me how to fill in my brows for the time being, no one even thought of it, everyone was just standing around looking while I was in tears. The owner didn't even come out to address anything (they asked if I wanted to see her..I don't even think that should be a question. And I'm sure now I'm that am writing a review she'll try and address it). Once the mistake was finally acknowledged I was offered a brow serum to help it grow back. But let's be serious, if those things even worked everyone would be walking around with full brows. Execution was poor, and the attempt at redemption was worse. Please reference the photos, one of which is me in tears IN the salon in tears. So, I'm not saying don't come here, I'm saying be weary and I hope your service goes the way you want it to. If not you'll be the one trying to fix it.

The quality of my hair has also improved, it's falling out less and is very soft and growing out nicely and quickly. I have been using the hair oil she sells in the salon (Ruhe) and I think that's helped a lot. I also enjoy the aesthetic in the salon, lots of plants, quiet (She only takes 1 appointment at a time), low music. I'm not much of a talker during a haircut and Kelsey respects that. My appointments with her are always very relaxing and as I said previously, my haircuts are perfect and my hair looks so good. She is definitely worth the price (which isn't that expensive in my opinion).

It's a miracle my hair did not fall out but bottom line, one year later and my hair is still above shoulder length. I had to cut it all off and wait for all of the damaged hair to grow out. It has been a tragedy to say the least. From here on, it'll be an additional 2 more yrs to grow my hair to where it was. I think she gave one of the best scalp massages while washing my hair. She suggested a deep conditioner and i gave the OK. We chatted pleasantly through out the process and she was very personable. Once under the dryer I got a chance to take in the atmosphere of the place. ( Bonus: they provide plastic ear covers for under the dryer so the tips of your ears don't burn from the metal clips or heat) The salon was pretty empty ( it was about 1pm when I walked in ) but I was happy because it meant I could get in and out. Halfway through drying she came over to loosen up the rollers ( allowing all parts of the hair to dry ) and once the timer went off I went right to the chair for finishing up. The blower was pretty hot, I'm used to it but if you're really sensitive ask for a lower temp. Aside from the body/ puffiness ( which I find a lot of salon's do when you have lots of hair) I was satisfied w/ the outcome. In total I paid $36 ( plus extra for tip ) for wash/ deep conditioner/ roller set and a 1/2 blow out. The woman that did my hair was Angela. I would go back for this type of service.

Bailee was happy to answer and asked me lots of questions too at my initial appointment. (I literally come EVERY TIME with more questions lol) This past time was my 3rd time getting my curly cut. When I visit I get a cut, wash and style. I also like to get a scalp treatment while I am there! I have always had naturally curly hair but have dyed my hair blonde and have done other things to compromise my curls. Bailee has taught me which products work for my hair and the proper upkeep, which can be different from person to person depending on their curl type and texture. At my last visit, Bailee was surprised at how my hair has changed since the last time I saw her. It's grown longer and has gotten thicker. My barber gives questions asking for the way I want my haircut, or if I like my haircut like this or that, you get the idea. They later recommend things to keep my hair healthy. That isn't just it. My mother also comes here to do her nails, maybe even my little sister. If not, my sister just relaxes on their sofa, taking candy from their bowl, which honestly, I take candy from there too. That's basically it, but what also makes up for the 5 stars is the place itself. As soon as I walk in, it gives this certain vibe I can't really describe, but it's cool. It also includes the smell. Overall, it's a good place to get a simple haircut or your nails done.
