I'm not a particularly patient guy, and I do have a good amount of standards when it comes to my presentation so I don't just go into a shop and come out with a $5 haircut happy... but I have to say due to my impatience, I walk in and get a cut from anyone that's available. GOOD news is that everyone that's at the shop is more than capable and perfectly cuts my hair the way I want every time. Each professional just knows what kind of cut I need to be the most flattering and they help me get there. Everyone that's cut my hair there is extremely polite and very professional. They are very courteous and gentle. There are days where I feel like chatting and others where I don't, they don't make me feel awkward for being quiet or don't bother me to keep talking about random things. I've had some genuinely nice conversations with Joe about the neighborhood and current events. I just feel so great whenever I go in. I'm writing this lover overdue review because I am already planning to go tomorrow morning for a cut, and I know it's just going to be the perfect experience to kick off my weekend! Thanks to everyone at Dominick's for an amazing cut every time!! Oh, and since they moved, I am in awe of how absolutely beautiful the new place is! It is absolutely spotless, great lighting, and the ambiance is freakin fantastic! I feel like I am getting the VIP treatment there. GREAT decision to move to the new spot!

Namely all my issues are a result of the barber seemingly trying to speed run the haircut. He took about ~12 mins to give me a mid skin fade. In the process, my back of neck got several scratches and marked up, took way too much off the top when I requested to just trim the edges, and messed up my beard. Furthermore, maybe if I were a walk-in then him trying to rush through it could make some sort of sense, I came with an appointment. However, I won't be coming again.
