Here to express my deep disappointment with the ongoing care my child has received at your office. Unfortunately, I have experienced several concerning issues that I can no longer ignore. Dr. Suarez has demonstrated poor bedside manner, and both the doctor and the nurse practitioner have appeared distracted and disengaged during multiple visits, more judgmental This has not been a one-time occurrence it has happened often enough that I feel the quality of care is unacceptable. When I call to provide updates, I am often told the doctor is unavailable, and important information I provide is not communicated to the physician. This has created confusion and gives the impression that I, as a parent, am not following through which is simply not true. It's also concerning that the doctor is frequently unavailable or on vacation, contributing to a pattern of inconsistent care. Today was the final straw. I brought my 10 year old daughter in for a physical, to discuss updates on her medication, and to have an evaluation form completed so we could move forward with her care. At no point did I request a medication refill. However, I received a call afterward where the doctor was condescending, dismissive, and twisted the purpose of the appointment entirely. The nurse practitioner also misrepresented the visit in a way that made me feel unheard and mischaracterized. The communication from this office and in between the dr and nurse has been poor, and I no longer feel confident that my child's health needs are being met in a respectful, professional manner. As a parent, it is upsetting to feel ignored, cut off, or misrepresented especially when I am trying to advocate for my child. read more

I had two sick kids, both of which have gone to this establishment since birth. With growing issues over the years ignored on our side due to our love for Suarez and Aliki. I cannot take it anymore with the downright outrageous mistreatment of clients from your front of house staff. What really done it for me was the following phone call I had to dolphin FIVE weeks ago. Last month I had two very sick kids. They had no time to see them both within the same appointment nor could they actually see the two sick appointments in one day. Difficult in itself to not be able to see two children from a family at once, but okay. I've tackled that in the past. But on this occasion I was extremely worried for their health and told them I would have to go elsewhere to seek immediate treatment. I asked Victoria for my medical records so that if another doctor asked any medical records I could answer them. Only to be met with extreme hostility and mindblowing rudeness. She believed I was leaving their practice, which at the time was not my intent. I was told and I quote "well that's going to take a few days, and it's our paper and our ink so you're going to have to pay for that". (Fast forward still no records have been provided) Naturally, it went from wanting to seek care once since they couldn't see me, to never again. There is a bald gentlemen who has never ever once been kind. You are made to feel a complete bother to them all. It's been over a month, I have called and asked to speak to multiple people including Aliki and Dr Suarez to be told "well let's see if they call you back". I find it really hard to believe those two ladies wouldn't care enough to call. But perhaps I am wrong. I am from a small town in a small country and always loved that they knew my kids and were warm women. All I want is my child's records to move on from feeling so downright awful. I was originally with this office 7 years ago. I left to follow the doctor my son was seeing. My doctor moved her practice so I decided to come back here. I called to make an appt and the nurse, Allen, informed me that I could not see Suarez that I had to see a nurse practitioner. I informed him that I wanted to see Suarez but I will give the nurse a try and he told me, " If you don't like it, you can always go somewhere else." That was so unprofessional, and his tone of voice was VERY aggressive. I asked to speak with someone else and he kept me on hold. I called back and I was transferred a lot and no one helped me. I left a message for Suarez to call me back at a later time to make a complaint. Here it is 3 weeks later and nothing!!! I have been calling each week for an update, and no one could help. I received a call from a nurse, who was nice, but she informed me that the owner of the practice would not talk to me for the complaint and the person that is over complaints went on vacation 3 days ago. So, the person chose not to call me and referred me to someone that is not over complaints and could not do anything. I do not recommend this office. I will never return. read more

Hola con todos! Espero esto les sirva para que consideren y vean otras opciones antes que elijan al pediatra de sus hijos. Al inicio estuve muy contenta de un lugar en donde sentí que te ponían la atención correcta, quizás por ser madre primeriza por pensar que estaba exagerando acepté un mal trato de parte de recepción y de los enfermeras/os. Pero ya que han pasado 16 meses y el mal trato es demasiado evidente, lo mínimo que se espera para ser atendido con un bebé enfermo, irritado de mal humor en el tamaño de un consultorio es de 45 minutos y hoy fue una hora y media (las políticas indican que si te atrasas mas de 15 minutos pagas $40 o $45 dólares y se cancela tu cita, pero si ellos te hacen esperar un tiempo x está ok y tienes q hacerlo sino que busques dónde más te convenga). Al parecer ellos te hacen un favor en atenderte y darte una cita, tienen muchos estudiantes practicantes que entran sin decirte nada a practicar con tu hijo midiéndolo pesándolo mínimo unas 4 veces o las que sean necesarias sin ni siquiera preguntarte si estás o no de acuerdo y cuando te niegas después de la tercera vez porque tú bebé llora terriblemente simplemente se portan mal te tiran la puerta y no te explican nada y ellos más ofendidos y enojados (si eso me paso con mi bebé de 15 meses y medio que aún no entiende que lo hacen por su bien o que otra persona necesita practicar). Pero cuando por fin decides quejarte porque no sientes que están bien esta serie de cosas (en un lugar que deben entenderte y ser empaticos al 1000000% sobre todo lo concerniente de tu bebé porque son *pediatras* , no un cine o una discoteca donde evidentemente no van a tener ninguna empatía) te encuentras con una recepción que te contesta con ironía que te dice que quieres que hagan? Y que si no te gusta que busques otro lugar (si así como lo están leyendo) y cuando vas y hablas con la Doctora te dice que lamentablemente no puede hacer nada porque no puede conseguir un mejor personal y que es mejor que me vaya a otro centro por la armonía de todos. La verdad que gran decepción la doctora Mirella es muy acertiva muy buena pero que gran decepción indicarme que me vaya así sin más, y Aliki me da muchísima pena que gran profesional pero que pena que tengan a un personal de recepción y enfermer@s tan poco humanos y con tan poca empatía. Y parte de ser buenos profesionales no solo es atender bien es ser empaticos y respetuosos con todas las personas y más aún siendo tus pacientes por consiguiente no recomiendo para nada este lugar. read more

Let's start with the positive the Drs are very nice and spend time with you and there is one general man who I believe is a nurse he is very sweet too. Unfortunately the wait times are excessive for planned well appointments. If your child is sick, forget about it. When you're lucky they can get you in a few days, but usually they offer appointments the next week which in turn ends up costing you a lot of money with urgent care or ER visits. I understand having to wait if they squeeze you in but they NEVER can squeeze you in when your kids sick and it's still an excessive wait when they aren't. Have two sick kids and one already has an appointment ? Sorry, they won't see them at the same time. You must choose which one to be seen and wait days to come back with the other. Working parents this is not the office for you. read more

At the end of our pregnancy, my husband and I interview a few pediatricians. Once we met Dr. Suarez, we knew she was the one. Every time we visit her office we are greeted by caring staff members that take the time to make you feel welcomed and like family. We never feel rushed. She takes her time to examine our daughter and explains to us everything along the way. She keeps up to date on all medical journals and provides her profesional insight. And most importantly, our daughter loves her. She now walks in with her own doctors play set and examines Dr. Suarez. We highly recommend this family practice. There's nothing more reassuring than your doctor knowing your child's history instead of a different doctor every visit. read more

My boys went to Dolphin Pediatrics for many years; we just recently transferred to another pediatrician for the reasons detailed below. First, wait times are between 45 minutes to an hour. Flexibility in scheduling is nonexistent. Any questions that a parent or caregiver asks are perceived as bothersome in a practice where empathy should be of top priority. When I asked for my son's prescription (for his maintenance medication) to be transferred to another pharmacy, because the pharmacy was out of the medication and did not when it would be back in stock, I left a message on the after-hours service and was sent a text by the doctor stating that I was "infringing upon her free time." I called the next day and was promised a call back, but it never happened, as is the norm. I am still waiting for a call back regarding some paperwork for my son's school. When I put in a request for records, I was told it would be $25 per page; then the pages were sent blank. Aliki Vasiliadi, the Nurse Practitioner, was excellent but she can only compensate so much for an office in disarray. Dr. Suarez's bedside manner was so poor that my son would often say, "mommy I don't think she likes me." When he was 13, the doctor sparked up a conversation about politics with him and told him that she was going to throw him out of her office because of his opinion. My sons' new doctor reviewed their records and we realized that we have been charged for visits which were not necessary and sent for countless blood tests which were irrelevant. I was told that my older son had a major medical issue when his new doctor offered a simple explanation. Sadly, this used to be a great pediatrician, but, as the practice has grown, it has become impersonal, and it is evident that the staff is frustrated and overworked; not the best combination for an office that serves children. There are too many excellent pediatricians out there to settle for poor and mediocre. read more

My friend recommended me this doctors office and we went because my baby was very sick,they told us that they did not take he's insurance and we told the person in front desk that we would pay cash and she said NO that we have to go to another place she did not accept cash and close the window on our face. I am sad to be leaving Dolphin Pediatrics as I'm moving to the west coast. My son, 2 years old, has been seeing Aliki Vasiliadi, advanced nurse practitioner for the past two years. She takes the time to listen to your concerns, always greeting you with a sincere smile and my son absolutely adores her! I was never rushed off the phone when calling with questions. I would ask for Alan when calling. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. The office is always clean and each room has a fun theme to keep the kids entertained. My son enjoyed the Disney Cars room and I enjoyed the sports room, Go Red Sox! Wonderful experience overall and highly recommend Dolphin Pediatrics. read more

Dr. Suarez and her staff are amazing. I'm in shock to read some of these other reviews because I personally have met many pediatric doctors due to my child's condition. The level of care and expertise just doesn't compare. And besides all that, bedside manner!!! Dr. Suarez has cried with me and hugged me countless times after my child's diagnosis. I love her natural approach to everything and how committed she is to her work. I remember during one of my daughter's hospitalizations, listening to the hospital doctor on the phone with Dr. Suarez and it was 2am on a weeknight. It doesn't stop there. Her staff is just as invested in the kids. They know the families by name. Everything we've ever needed has always been followed through. I just cannot say enough about this practice. In fact I usually send people there when they are frustrated with their current doctors. read more

I brought my 16 year old daughter there once for blood work. A month later I found out accidentally that they had called my daughter's cell phone and made 3 appointments without my consent for various vaccinations. Unfortunately, I did not find out until after she had gone to one of the appointments (alone). I called the office and they had no idea what to tell me and stated that they would get back to me which they never did. Run don't walk. read more

I can not say enough about the pediatricians and staff at Dolphin Pediatrics. Specifically Dr. Suarez-Troccoli and in the office Alan and Karen. I experienced the most difficult time learning about my daughter's sudden onset seizure disorder and Dr. Suarez held my hand throughout it all. She steered me in the right direction to see the most amazing neurologist, she went above and beyond. Alan and Karen took all of my calls and helped a million times over to fax needed paperwork to insurance and specialists. Alan even helped me me during a level 10 temper tantrum while filling out paperwork. Had it not been for their dedication and hard work we would not be in the position we are in with our daughters progress. My heart will forever be filled with gratitude! read more

Dr Suarez is a great Doctor, very attentive and answers all questions. She is the only doctor my daughter has ever seen and the experience is usually good with her staff but the same cannot be said about her office manager. Since there move to their new office they have been disorganized which is understanding since they moved but when i brought this to his attention ( and his staff) he was very rude and made slick comments that were not appreciated. I woke up early and missed a day of work to take my daughter to be treated like a random person from the street. He is a Very rude man who must be very unhappy with himself to be that rude that early in the morning. I will no longer be attending or recommending but will miss Dr Suarez. read more

If it was up to me they would get NO stars! I recently moved to the area from out of state and a friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Trocolli. I had called to register my toddler as a new patient so I was instructed to leave a message for their coordinator... a week passes and still no call back. My son becomes I'll so I call and request to make an appointment, I am again transferred to the coordinator who apparently never learned how to check his messages. Still no call...I finally call a third time only to learn I cannot get an appointment or register my son as a new patient for the next 30 days...office never took into consideration how much I've waited to see them. My son has been with Dr. Cubas for 11 years, and she has always allowed me to separate the vaccines required by schools so that I don't feel my son is getting a toxic overload. Today, she said her policy no longer allowed for that. She gave me an ultimatum: either give all the shots today or find a new pediatrician. I obviously left-I refused to be bullied by such insensitivity. I immediately found a new pediatrician who does allow me to separate them! I also found out Dolphin Pediatrics requires a vaccine not necessary for school admission, and they lied to me and said it was. Unbelievable! I recommend you find a different practice. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Suarez. She is awesome! Spends sufficient time with us during every visit and answers every question we have with a clear game plan. As first time parents, this is invaluable! Now that our daughter is 2.5 years old, the visits are even better which I truly did not think possible. She is So good with kids, getting them to be comfortable while she is still able to do her thorough check up. I agree with the previous post. Dr. Suarez is a good doctor, but her office staff and specially the manager are very rude. We were with her for about 3 years and also referred some of our friends to her, but suddenly this manager became active, a few weeks ago and treat people very bad. He actually told my wife that business is first, in other words he saw my son as business not as a patient. I am very disappointed and I took my son to another pediatrician. I have also told all the friends I recommended and they will be changing also. I think this manager is going to be the downfall of this practice. I do not recommend it, take your business else where. read more

I take both my kids to this office mainly because we love Dr Cubas. We make the 30 min drive every time to see her. Well, I made an appointment to get my daughters ears pierced. They never called to confirm so I tried calling the day before several times and they never answered phone. I show up to office next day for appt I thought was at 8:30 but ended up it was 8:15. I made it on my own with a 3 month old and a 2 year old at 8:30 in morning after strategically having to wake, feed, dress, pack baby bag, load them in car and make drive in traffic hour on my one day off nonetheless. Well, Dr Suarez refused to see me over fifteen minutes. I have made it to countless appointments on time, waited sometimes about an hour to see them and she could not accommodate me for fifteen minutes! I would think they would be sympathetic and understanding that a mother with two kids can not control every minute of the day. They feed and poop when they want to! I am so disappointed. I have referred several patients to them. Never again. read more

I am a mom of 3 who adores Dr. Suarez and Dr. Cubas. For many years, our family was a client of Pediatric Associates. Dr. Suarez was our pediatrician for a few years, then we were devastated because we heard she was leaving the practice to open her own. We decided to stay with Pediatric Associates because it is right across the street from our home. We were then assigned to Dr .Cubas and fell in love with her. I began to get very frustrated at Pediatric Assoc. because they were obviously over booking Dr. Cubas so it would take forever to see her. But we stuck it out because she is AMAZING! Then all of a sudden I heard she left the practice too...To join Dr. Suarez! Can I tell you how excited we were! Dolphin Pediatrics is a dream come true. You get the family atmosphere where everyone knows you and your children and truly care. I wish Dr. Suarez and Dr. Cubas nothing but success!!! I highly recommend Dolphin Pediatrics. Dr. Cubas is my childrens Dr. and we LOVE her!!!!! We are so pleased with the care she gives that we followed her when she moved to Dolphin Pediatrics as did many of her patients. Dr. Cubas genuinly cares for her patients. She takes the time to treat your child not only physically but is also concerned with the childs mental and emotional state. She is always able to see us on the same day if one of the kids is sick and she covers all bases to make sure we understand the condition being treated. Dr. Cubas or Dr. Suarez is always a phone call away on holidays. weekends or after hours. We feel blessed to have Dr. Cubas and Dolphin Pediatrics as part of our familys care. read more

I would never recommend Dr. Suarez to anyone. Saw her once for a tongue tie that my twins had and she took Care of it in her office. So, naturally when I found out my pediatrician was closing her office I tried to go there . I was asked over the phone after they found my twins in their System if my children had health issues like (ADHD) or anything like that ( special needs) I said yes and then I was told sorry we are not taking new patients with disability. read more
