I've been going here about 4 years. It's fine. I'm happy my primary left because if I had to experience one more eye roll I would have left. This review is about their GLP1 shots and the nurse that dispenses them. I don't know her but the 2 months I came in to get the supply she was rude and completely no help at all. I'm not convinced she filled the syringes with the medication because in 2 months I lost 0 lbs. so if you're looking for weight loss go somewhere else. read more

The staff and the physicians are always very friendly and helpful. My whole family has been comfortable no matter who they have seen! Dr. Leroy takes his time and treated my 17 year old as an adult/acquaintance, rather than just another patient. read more

Had EKG done by PA at Dolphin December 7 2023 for pre-approval of knee surgery. Left with approval and a copy of the EKG. Day of surgery I am gowned up and ready go, that is, until the anesthesiologist reviewed my papers. He did not like the results, and was not comfortable with the EKG. Ten minutes later, I am on my way home. When I get home, I pull out my copy of EKG, and observe in small type: "abnormal" More frustrating; leading up to planned surgery of December 20, I had met all my out-of pocket costs. In the bigger picture; Dolphin PA said nothing to me, the patient about the "abnormal" EKG. and signed the surgery approval. read more

Poor customer service skills at the front desk, and a very disorganized billing system so if you choose to go there be careful because they have no idea what they are charging you from one visit to the next. They don't know how to handle customer concerns in a professional manner whatsoever and just yell at the patients. You are just another number to them and the providers don't care whether you stay or go. read more

I arrived to the office at 10:15am and my appointment was for 10:20am and Nicki the front office desk receptionist made me leave because I wasn't there 15mins in advance. Granted I have waited over a month to get an appointment here and as you all know even though your appointment is at a certain time the doctor never actually calls you back at that specific time. Just left a message for Dana the office manager who works at the corporate office. I've never had this happen to me at any doctors office before.... If you look at my Yelp, you'll notice that it takes a lot to get me to write a bad review, but here we go because it matters. This place is very close to my house, and they accepted my insurance, so win-win is the reason I picked them after being new to the area. I was seen for several visits and was being treated by Kelly, the PA. She is young and is doing the best she can with the help of the doctor, who also seems to be well educated and experienced. My issue comes from the administrative staff at the front desk and the nurses. I gave the administrative staff my insurance information and then received a bill in the mail. They failed to run it through my secondary, which was also supplied at my new patient visit. I handed the bill to the person behind the glass only to get "did you call the number on the bill?" I said no, I brought it to you. She gave me a disgusted face and without further conversation, "I can take care of this for you" for example, she set about correcting my insurance and fixing the bill. I turned and went to sit down knowing she wasn't going to talk to me anymore. When the nurse came to the door and called my name, I could tell she wasn't in a very good mood. So, when I told her that I didn't want my weight taken again (I have been seen each Monday for the prior 3 weeks bc of my condition and it didn't change) she became very angry. She took me to the exam room and proceeded with the standard visit check-in (BP, etc). I told her I didn't want that either that I was there for a specific reason and that was all. She said "no, you're here on a full visit." I said I know, but I only need to discuss my medication with Kelly and that was all. She argued the full visit/lab visit point for a few volleys and then got so upset that she was tossing things around on the desk, dropped the temperature reader on the floor (batteries one way / battery cover went another), and was shaking. I told her she could take a few minutes and calm down if she needed it and she angerly barked "I don't need to." When she took my reading (finger poke) she closed everything up and slammed the door on her way out. I thought about what she just did for 30 seconds and then went out of the room to ask for the doctor. I found the nurse around the corner talking about me to the other nurses who were all laughing. She shouted "he just needs to go" as she stormed down the hall. When PA Kelly came in, I informed her that all of that was unacceptable and that I'm done with Dolphin Medical Group and not coming back. My HIPPA rights were clearly violated, and that nurse's actions were abusive. 0 stars read more

I wish i could give them 0 stars.This place is HORRIBLE. Having moved to the area they were one of the closest places for me to go. I called to schedule a visit to have my vitals checked and get refills for my prescriptions. They had me fill out all of my info on their web page, pretty common right? They have everything they need to know about me from me plus a release to get my info from my previous Dr. So far so good. I schedule the visit and show up. The PA sees me and asks me the same exact questions as the questionnaire . Not unusual ..they have to make sure it's accurate. Then she says OK lets get an appointment set up for you. WHAT??? that's why I scheduled THIS appointment. I asked her why no exam and was told this is a "Meet and Greet". This little Meet & Greet cost me more than the actual medical examination a few weeks later. I disputed the charge with both them and the insurance company but of course that's a lost cause. Fast forward to last week. I call to make arrangements to pick up a "Determination of Extreme Vulnerability" form so that I can get my Covid vaccine. According to the State of Florida, Hypertension is one of the underlying conditions that will enable me to get the vaccine with the form. The Dr rejected it. Are you serious??? Needless to say I will NEVER go there again and will deter as many people as I can. I'll go to a real Dr that has a vested interest in my health and not focused so much on trying to squeeze every dime they can from you. read more

This was not an office I would have typically chosen. It's in a strip mall next to Publix but my insurance wasn't accepted in many places (thanks marketplace) and they accepted it so I went with an open mind. I have been pleasantly surprised! I see Dr Nora Abdir and my husband seems Dr Casado. Both are wonderful. read more

My wife and I go to Dolphin Medical. My wife sees PA-C Nora Abdir and she is very pleased with the care she receives. I saw the new physician, Dr. Adam LeRoy, and he was great. I had my annual physical and he listened to all my concerns, took the appropriate action and will followup with me in two weeks with a telemedicine call. The waiting room could have been more aesthetically pleasing but it was clean, adequate and comfortable. The exam room was very good. Dr. LeRoy spent 20 minutes with me, he went over my medical history and then asked questions to make sure he fully understood my concerns. I have lived in the area three years, tried 3 other primary care physicians and Dr LeRoy was by far and away the right fit for me. I enthusiastically recommend him to anyone in search of a primary care physician. read more

I have been a patient at Dolphin for 6 years. I really liked Dr Casada, but yesterday I saw Dr Adam Leroy. He was excellent. He asked lots of questions and really listened to my answers. He changed some of my meds, and took the time to fully explain the changes. He was friendly and took his time with me. I hope he stays there for years, because we have a great doc in this man. read more

I have had to go to Dr.Casado and Ms. Chang for referrals and was very pleased with both of them. My problem with Dolphin Medical Group is the front office. I left a message a two different times for two different referrals. Their message said they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. They NEVER called me back, even after several days. I found out later that the person who does the referrals works part time, so when she is out of the office, no referrals are made. I was also told that a nurse is supposed to check the referral messages but I guess that never happens. I also found the office staff a bit rude and disconnected to the patient. There was an incident with me (that I will not describe here) that made me decide to never go to Dolphin again. read more

They are overworked. Doc and PA don't really care. Just another patient, just another number. Go elsewhere

Dr. Casado if professional and has explained things to me in ways I had not been told before, which helped me understand better. He's quite clear in his advice to patients and doesn't let important things slide just to protect hurt feelings- he tells you the hard stuff too. My previous doctor was very touchy-feeely and didn't always tell me what I needed to know. read more

They are really excellent. Dr. Casado and his nurse are very knowledgeable and caring. They are busy, but never cut you short if you have questions. The office is very accessible, it's easy to get an appointment, and they have a message service if a patient needs advice over the weekend when the office is closed. One of the problems I had stumped a specialist; Dr. Casado took care of it during one appointment. read more

I've been visiting this office since 2007. Always love the doctors and nurses there, except for the receptionist. I hope that it's not because I'm not WHITE and have an accent that whenever I have an appointment or ask for an appointment or any information, the receptionist is always very unpleasant. If the office is not near to our home and the doctors and nurses are nice and kind, I'd rather go somewhere else. I don't write a bad review ever but this time. read more
