I actually quite liked it.
It's pretty damn cheap. Spent ten days there last year. Feel like I only spent 200 pounds.
There is NO elevator and they are narrow AF.
I was on the top floor on the front window side. The room is relatively small but I was in London for business. I just slept and watched tv mostly. Water pressure is kind of week. But you can watch the tv from your bathroom. Which was fun!
For young person it was perfect.
Breakfast is included, I had the deluxe deal. I got deluxe on my last day only because I didn't really know who to ask for it. Cleaning ladies were swell. I didn't get my room cleaned regularly maybe like twice. I was in it during the rounds and kept it clean myself, but they did provide me with loads of tea. In fact, I asked for a small packet and the lady was like, "Here take this whole bit." I was soooooo tickled. I loved the tea they provided. DH literally was my home away from home. I miss it from time to time!
Bring your own pillow tho. The mattress is a bit lumpy.
It's literally 5 mins or less walking distance from a chip shop, Paddington Station, a bus, Pret, and a Tesco express 24 hr.
I plan on staying here again next year, real treat. May upgrade to a suite.
Not a five star due to paying for wifi. Really guys, what's with that. read more
