I am not exaggerating when I fell in love with their beans when I first bought them! So fresh and the taste was so much more delicious and different than any other big store I would get beans! My husband and I first went there and the owner greeted us as he passed the front door! Not only was he very hospitable and kind, he brought us to the back and showed us where they roasted their beans! We were able to have a nice talk with the workers and they were eager to answer our questions about the way they roast the beans! It left a great first impression! Since then, every time I have gone for beans and also got food or coffee, they never disappoint! It is even better than what I imagine when I see it on the menu! The space there also feels authentic and like I can relax and have a casual conversation without feeling rushed!

When I arrived they had a generous variety of laminated pastries, cakes, cookies, and so on. Not just a bunch of laminated stuff which is the new trend. I ordered 2 cookies (ginger and oatmeal) and a bread pudding. They even warm the pastries up for you if you ask!! Both cookies were delicious. They had a crispy edge with a soft chewy inside, not overly sweet but very well balanced. Really everything you could ask for in a cookie. Next was the bread pudding. Which is made with "old" croissants. I was on the fence and almost didn't order it because some people over due the sweetness. Again it was perfect. I had to force myself to stop eating it.
