Erin is easy to work with and she knows her craft. She uses hard wax which doesn't rip of layers of skin. I've had all kinds of waxing over the years and almost all use the resin type wax which at some point all take of layers of skin along with the hair. I have gotten the Brazilian, eyebrows, upper lip, legs, and under arms. Erin is the gentlest esthetician I've ever encountered. Super detail oriented which is important when someone is working on your face. Erin's personality is so chill and welcoming. Having that calm demeanor definitely helps when you're getting your hoohaa waxed. Her workstation is always clean and she takes the necessary precautions in keeping it that way. Since my last review, I have been going to Erin for waxing for more than 3 years now. I work in El Segundo and live in West LA, but I have no problem driving down to Redondo Beach to get my regular waxing done. Nothing has changed since my first review: 1. Erin is professional. Her waxing doesn't hurt much. I have tried several other places (soft wax, hard wax, sugaring etc.) close to my house, and no other place is as painless as Erin's. She is very thorough, and anyone can tell she wants to make sure you are completely hair-free! 2. Erin is kind and understanding. She wants to make you feel as comfortable as possible during a session that can be quite awkward (as we all know). She is very personable. To me, my sessions usually feel like I am coming over to my friend's house for a wine to chat -- in this case...waxing I guess. 3. Most importantly, her place is super clean!
