Like Old Navy, its sister store at this outlet mall, this GAP had articles of clothing that I liked. There were a lot of cargo pants. Fleece cargos seemed to be popular and on sale. If you in need of a t-shirt or several, this store had many on clearance. I have a mini fruit t-shirt collection happening. I picked up a t-shirt with mini strawberries on it. It would be perfect with my recently acquired watermelon t-shirt from Old Navy, and my cherries one at home. I didn't bother going into a fitting room that was fairly busy on a Monday afternoon. I tried it over what I was wearing. It fit nicely. It was mine for $8.99, with another 40% discount on top of it. I saw a Squishmallows graphic t-shirt for kids. Why can't they make one in adult sizes? I'd totally buy and wear it proudly as a Squishmallows fan. I headed to the checkout area. There was a bit of a lineup. i got the friendliest man who helped me with my purchase. I entered my phone number associated with my GAP rewards. I let my discount accumulate some more. I paid with a debit card. Done! He asked me if I needed a bag. I was good stuffing it in my Old Navy bag. It allowed my fruit t-shirts to mingle. I thanked him and happily left with my purchase. I enjoyed dropping by this store. I got a good deal on a t-shirt. I'd come back to visit this store again the next time I'm at this outlet mall. (293)

I love seeing what a community is discarding or donating for a second life, and I love the people in thrift stores who are all, like me, looking for a treasure, however they'll define that. And I especially love the community spirit of these small town shops where folks - mostly older ladies - are hanging out and exchanging news and giving old items new purpose and raising money to help each other out. The MCC thrift stores are I think my favourite. Mennonite Community shops in prairie towns. You have to get lucky here just like everywhere else, nothing in life is guaranteed, but anywhere you can thrift with an older community that values quality goods, and where demand is low you are going to find some beautiful things at very low prices. The Kildonan MCC is a Winnipeg example of the above, not as exceptional as the ones in smaller towns, but it's not in the city center either, and it's quite large and we did find some gems here and definitely found good vibes.

I own two Adidas items in my wardrobe: - A purple t-shirt - A front-zip Minnesota Wild Adidas hoodie Both items are so comfortable to wear. They also have a nice softness when you wear them. I got both on sale at Kohl's and The Hockey Lodge, respectively. I thought that I'd check out this store at Collection Outlet Winnipeg and see if I could expand my Adidas wardrobe. I liked the women's sneakers. Out of the entire batch, I only found two pairs that were size 11. It's slim pickings if you have large feet for a woman. If you are size 10 and under, you'll have better success. I didn't want to get a men's pair. The colours weren't cheerful to me. The track outfits looked nice. They were discounted, but not heavily. I played with a basketball. This store had nice basketball designs besides your typical brownish colour. The one that I was bouncing around was inflated nicely. This place also a decent selection caps. I didn't see a huge discount happening in this section, either. It was great browsing. I just wish that there were more women's size 11 shoes available. Maybe I'll have better luck next time I'm back at this store. (252)
