This is my 2nd time buying from The Running Room at Tsawwassen Mills and that is because of a great…read moresales staff by the name of Kentaro. He helped me so much with my first pair of runners that I made sure to get my 2nd pair of runners when kentaro was working. Like in the past, Kentaro is personable, friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. He works so hard on his own and he is an asset to The Running Room. As long as Kentaro is working at the Running Room, I will continue to buy my runners from him. I hope the company recognizes his hard work, his talent, and his dedication to his job so one day he will be made the store manager. We are lucky to have Kentaro who is so knowledgeable with his products. I refuse buying at Sport Chek or any of these mall stores with runners because 99% of the staff has no knowledge of the runners and can;t provide a proper and appropriate fittings especially for problematic feet.

This is the one and only Running Room " outlet " in all of BC . They do carry my current fave…read morerunning / walking / standing shoe which is the Saucony Hurricane 23 but sadly it's only $20 or 10% off regular . The aforementioned Sauconys are great because they provide , for me anyway , the absolute perfect blend of cushioning and stability as competing models from say Asics , NB and even Mizuno just don't offer the same plush ride . Being a discounted running shoe store first and foremost I did find some pronation-control products in my size on sale too but they're old , i mean like couple seasons old already . Believe it or not running shoes do have a shelf life as materials degrade over time even if unworn and just don't provide the same support as they used to when new . Staff seems relatively less helpful and knowledgeable than other RR locations so good idea to do your own research before stopping by la : )

Long mall with lots of stores and parking. The deals are good as most are 30% off. When there is…read morea sale, the deal is better. The mall is a long boomerang shape with food court in middle, Bass Pro at one end, the other end has Funland and restaurants outside the West entrance. Lots of families come here however only the middle washroom by the rood court has family room. The washrooms at either end don't have family rooms which I thought was interesting as they advertised the mall as family oriented. You would have thought that they will have at least one family room at each end too. The men's washroom has a counter to change diaper but no padding/baby change table so bring a foldable change mat. There is an enclosed play area for babies to crawl/run around and a stroller area to leave your stroller. It is near the Marshalls/The Children's Place stores, west of food court. Good place to just walk around.

It is easily accessible from the vehicle waiting lines. There are many tables and chairs inside. There are many shops offering souvenirs, as well as food options. Prices are similar to other stores. tsawwassen quay market is a great little marketplace tucked inside the ferry terminal at…read moretsawwassen, and it adds way more personality to the travel experience than you might expect from a place where people mostly just wait around for the ferry. before boarding a ferry with bc ferries, travellers can pass through this indoor market where you can grab food, browse a few shops, and pick up those last minute things you forgot to pack. it's a handy stop for people heading to vancouver island or the gulf islands, and it definitely makes the waiting part of ferry travel more enjoyable. because let's be honest, ferry travel sometimes goes exactly as planned...and sometimes it doesn't. maybe the sailing is full, maybe the weather decides to get dramatic, or maybe there's a mechanical hiccup. suddenly you're waiting for the next sailing, which means you've got time to stretch your legs and wander the market instead of just sitting around. there's a compact food court with several casual dining spots where you can grab something quick before boarding, or bring it onto the ferry with you. coffee, snacks, or something a little more filling, it's always nice to have options. one of the convenient stops inside the market is the lottery kiosk, where travelers often pick up a ticket or a scratch card before their sailing. it's an easy stop if you're feeling lucky, and for a moment you might find yourself imagining what life would look like if the numbers lined up and the jackpot hit. i'd like to think that early retirement plans have probably started at that kiosk more than once. what really gives the market its charm though are the small shops scattered along the walkway. they carry a mix of practical travel gear, magazines, toys and fun souvenirs. you'll find racks of warm clothing, rain jackets, hats, toques, and ball caps, plus snacks, gifts, and those little things you realize you forgot the moment you arrive at the terminal. coastal weather can be unpredictable, and this is exactly the kind of place where you can grab something quickly and pretend it was part of the plan all along. the space itself feels surprisingly cozy for a ferry terminal. warm wood beams and plenty of natural light give it more of a coastal market vibe than a transportation hub. the wide walkways make it easy to browse the shops and take your time before boarding the ferry. overall, tsawwassen quay market is a thoughtful and surprisingly charming part of the ferry terminal. instead of just waiting around, you can stretch your legs, grab a bite, browse the shops, and maybe even pick up a lottery ticket while you're at it. it's a simple idea, but it turns what could be boring travel time into a small part of the adventure.
