I tried to like them... really I did. I'm redoing my house and want several pieces of furniture. I…read morelooked at a very expensive table. it was on sale plus no tax. I also looked at some ornaments... I was told they were on the same sale and with no tax. During the sale, I visited the table a few times to be sure (it's a big investment). It didn't have enough seating so I asked about pricing to change that. The salesperson used tactics like "price doesn't matter you deserve it". I was also told it was the last day of the sale and my last chance for that discount. The sales tactic kind of put me off and I didn't do it. The next day I was on their road and saw the same furniture was on sale for an even BIGGER discount than the day before. Did the salesperson honestly not know that when she was pushing the sale? It certainly made me think customer service means nothing, it made me feel like their tactic was "how much can I get out of their pocket?" Fast forward to the ornament. Shortly thereafter, I saw a 50% off sale and decided to see if the ornament was part of it. I was disappointed, it was on sale for an even smaller discount than the previous sale. I guess every store says there is a big sale then changes it in fine print so the 50% part wasn't surprising. The salesperson said that I'd still get a smaller sale price and the no tax discount. I thought about that and went back for it on the last day of that sale. When we get back to the store the item's price was significantly increased. So, I asked why the original price was suddenly so much higher. I was told it was ALWAYS that price! They didn't expect that I had taken a picture that showed the price tag. Even then it was dismissed, then I was told it was a different lot. Then they decided to honour the price. Great! discount and no tax, I'm ready. I then got, "we NEVER have a tax discount on these items" (keep in mind I was already told there was one AND the sign outside said no tax). So, it was left behind. I didn't get it. Fast forward again (yep, I'm a sucker for punishment), there is a new sale sign for 20% off. My birthday was coming up I thought what the heck I'll bite and pay the tax, but guess what? The price was significantly increased again! When we asked for the price that it was lowered to just a few days earlier (same ornament, same spot, etc), we were told there would be no discount... The reason you ask? First, "it's a new lot", new price (yet in the same spot with same everything on it only a few days later). THEN we were told, "because you looked at it several times...no discount this is the price". Because I looked at it before? Really? THAT last line is why this short novel is before you today. So, are you saying that if you think you can get money out of the people who would love to support local businesses, you will and you pick and choose what price goes to what customer? And why are you so unapologetic about it? Your furniture is nice, but it's also nice at least 3 other stores in Saskatoon (one of which I found my beautiful table). I guess when I start the living room, I know where I'm NOT going. I certainly have a few examples that will support that. I feel bad leaving bad reviews, and my hackles are rarely up enough to do so, especially over something a person doesn't really need, but it's more symbolic at this point. I don't think being unapologetic is the best route because people won't die without anything you sell. I doubt there are as many people who don't keep track of their money as there used to be. Take my experience as you will.

We purchased a leather love seat that the leather cracked and came apart. Plus between the cushions was vinyl that cracked and separated from the cushions. They agreed but wanted 500 to repair the love seat. Saying they had to pay the manufacturer and charging me labour for their inside employe. They are not out anything.
