I have to call my doctor to have it resent to my new drug store - CVS. Others in the long line told me how many times the had come to get what their doctor prescribed. Store managers have told me closing the Evergreen and 7 Mile store means that a 1000 prescriptions are coming to this store. But that has been happening for now a long while and corporate is not doing anything to correct the problems. No added staff or hours. In fact this store has less staff and hours than Monroe MI locations have. All the Walgreens near me do, but Monroe has much less minority population. Do they think it OK to give us less service because we are in an area with high minority population !!!!????;!! WTF!!!! What will it take, someone dying while waiting for days to have a prescription to be filled. I can just switch to a different company, but seniors might not be able to do that. I typically notice that they have deals going on for their branded cold brew coffees which are priced at 2 for $5. The starbucks doubleshots are also 2 for $5 currently so I always rotate between the two options. The clerks are friendly as I stated above and they always greet the customers as they come in and provide good service. I have bumped into some of the staff outside of work in the area and they are still respectful during our encounters. They also have a large selection of products inside the store, and when I am not grabbing a cold drink, I like to get a warm cup of coffee that they consistently brew throughout the day.

I was able to find what I needed without any trouble, but the overall experience was a bit odd. You can definitely tell this store has seen better days--the ambiance feels dated and a little worn. After grabbing my items, I walked up to the front to check out, but there was nobody at the register. I stood there for a bit calling out "hello" to see if anyone was around, and there was no response. Just as I was about to give up and walk out, I heard a woman say something down the aisle along the lines of "Okay, there's someone up front," and then a cashier hurried over to ring me up. The checkout itself was fine once someone arrived, but it was strange that no one was keeping an eye on the register or noticing a customer waiting. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it definitely felt disorganized and somewhat uncomfortable. With a little more attentiveness up front, this location could be a lot better.

How could so many products be expired? Either no one shops there, but we noticed several regulars come in while we were there, or, our guess, the store was deliberately stocking expired products to save money.
