"I've tried and tried to no avail You just can't seem to let…read moreme down You drive a hard bargain" (Emmylou Harris) We enjoy our bargain stores and are fans of Ocean State Job Lot, Big Lots and Ollies. Two days ago, we made our first visit to the Ollies on Grafton Street in Worcester. We picked up our "go to" Ollies staples -coffee K Cups (BTW, we do recycle them) and found some very good values on $4 or $5 for a box. Although we did get some good values, we thought the overall coffee inventory was lower than in other Ollies. We usually pick up some odds and ends in the food section and Ollies had a good selection of soups and salsas. One odd thing I saw was a trend of messiness in some of the store's sections. There were area rugs dumped all over the floor in one aisle. Now of course, I don't know how that happened, nor how long that mess was there, but I suspect a slovenly customer was looking at merchandise and couldn't have been bothered by picking up the mess they had carelessly created. But why on earth hadn't an employee noticed and remedied that mess? Another example of inattention was how the big cartons of K Cups were stacked; it looked as though their forklift or pallet jack operator had a few too many adult beverages before saying "that messy off-center precariously leaning stack is EXACTLY the way I wanted it too look". Overall, we had a typical Ollies experience, and that's a good one!

Recently learned of this place as I was visiting with my friend who works in the area. It's very…read moresimilar to the Building 19 store because it was the original Building 19 store until Ollie's took it over. Very handy but useful things you can buy that's very reasonable or cheap. Actually some prices are not the cheapest but if you look, you can find some deals. From books, to garden care, to home ware, to some foods, even big appliances like air conditioners, school supplies, sports, toys, they might just have it. Not everything but you have to look. That's why you would come. To find a deal. It's not the best looking store or tidy,but that's the vibe here. Bargains, bargains, like at a warehouse. What's fun is actually to read the signs in the store. They are funny and very original. It's in a plaza with other stores, so there's plenty of parking. If in the area, I would check it out. But I wouldn't drive all the way just for a bargain. You could go to Big Lots, Ocean State Job Lot for similar items and in a nicer looking store. But you would miss out on the signs that advertise this store. That was the only thing I enjoyed.

However, I…read morego to the one on main st in Leominster and in Fitchburg (both on the main road) the one in Leo has a $5 section as where Fitchburg does not or may have a few $5 item not many. Overall good, they have a lot of the things you would find on tik tok if your into that whole thing or they are just a great place to find quality items at a decent price, convenient, local, and without breaking bank. The variety of items is insane from kitchen ware to crafts to party gear. $ tree will have you covered, certainly covered for whichever holiday is up and coming and the newest d.i.y items potentially available if not you def can find your way into projects easily. I'd give them 4 stars. I just get annoyed when I'm trying to find something I've seen online but isn't for some reason stocked at either store. Leo there is one staff member, male, dark longer hair in his 20s who is super nice, wicked helpful, actually very friendly and kind, so please treat him nice. Fitchburg is kind too, just no one sticks out like Leo does.

I'm pretty sure 90% of the necklaces i own came from this store. There's a mix of used clothing, vintage and new. Men's and women's clothing is both available. I have picked up flannels from here as well as numerous pairs of shoes for under 20 bucks. The bargain bin is also a great option. There's a wall filled with a diverse selection of shoes and purses. My favorite is the jewelry and accessories scattered around the checkout. There is always cute necklaces or rings to pick out. Some of the jewelry was created by local artists so you know you can pick up something that is unique and fun. I've found some basic kitchen stuff here, but I've also noticed that a lot of their pots and pans are really scratched up and not in good condition. Staff/volunteers do a nice job of styling the mannequins, but I've hardly bought any clothes from this thrift store, and I thrift for all my clothes. I haven't really found any amazing finds here. No really nice brands. It seems like cheap college kid clothes. I am a Clark student and know that the store gets many donations from its students around move out day, so maybe then is a better time to shop. The store also gets its donations from unclaimed laundry, so those clothes for sale are often clean, on the bright side.
