It's so funny how different each Big Lots location is, at least in my experiences! Yes they all have a strange smell to them, over exposed lighting and tacky floors, and huge parking lots that are never close to even half full... but the merchandise stock never seems to repeat. For instance, I used to go to the Big Lots in my hometown for DIY materials for crafty gifts and affordable holiday decor. On occasion I'd find some random GF, organic granola bars, trail mixes, cereals, and things of that nature for an insanely affordable price but it's not ever what I come looking for. At this location I've come in looking for crafty items, holiday gifts and stocking stuffers, mini celebration gift inspiration, and things of that realm. I've probably visited about 10 times with that same mindset and left only one time actually buying something. I'll even try to explore the aisles to go home with some little unexpected treat but never find anything to my liking worth the price. As shown in the photos, the damage is clearly new with the silver exposed. I expected a straightforward claims process since I understand mistakes can happen, but the tire department is insisting the damage was pre existing and even referenced a conversation that never occurred, which is concerning. I am honestly less upset about the damage itself and more concerned about how it was handled.
