There wasn't any clear sign that the…read morebusiness was permanently closed, and since the door was open, my sister and I assumed it was okay to go in and look around since we'd never been there before. There was no one at the front desk, so we just browsed for about 10-15 minutes. Eventually, the owner came over and asked if we needed anything. I told her we were just looking, and she responded sarcastically with, "Well, we're closed." I immediately apologized and explained that the door was open and we didn't see a sign. The windows are heavily tinted, so it's not like we could see anything posted clearly. She insisted there was a sign and explained vendors were moving out, but her tone was unnecessarily rude and hostile the entire time. I stayed polite and left, but the interaction left a bad impression. It was a simple misunderstanding, and the way it was handled felt unprofessional. Based on that experience alone, I wouldn't recommend this business.

Of all the discount food stores in the area, this small but very organized market is one of the…read morebest. Neat, clean, very organized, I had a really hard time dragging my wife out. The prices are unbelievably low for one good reason, in many cases the items are past their expiration or "Best By" dates. HOWEVER, as we all know, that is only a guideline and if the food is frozen or well taken care of, there is no problem. We bought lots of chocolate and it was perfect as was the meat and pastries. The store takes EBT cards, local checks and cash, NO credit. The cashiers were friendly and there was a nice welcoming vibe in the store. No restrooms and even though they're in the middle of nowhere, if you follow your GPS directions or their written directions to a T, you'll get there okay.

They're all always very nice, friendly and helpful, and I just love going in there. I wasn't sure if the deli would be open when I got there at 8:30, but they open at 8 with the store, so I was very happy about that.
